The charges against your security deposit came directly from the property owners. The property owners and your husband have communicated directly with one other and the balance of your deposit was returned timely. The property owners also explained to your husband the expense charges as well. Our office has regularly communicated with your husband every day the past week both by email or phone. Sometimes three times in one day by phone. Unfortunately your husband has threatened one of our employees therefore we kindly ask to direct your dispute to the property owners. Your husband has the property owners contact information. We regret your unpleasant experience and hopefully this can be resolved between you and the property owners. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: Delta Star, acting as a representative for the landlord, handled every aspect of our tenancy from application to vacating the property. We wrote all checks to Delta Star and recieved our deposit refund from Delta Star. Our pre-move out inspection performed by Tracy from Delta Star gave us no indication that anything was wrong with the property. When we recieved our itemized list of charges for aledged damages to the property we were provided no receipts for repairs (required by law) Delta Star became non-responsive from that point and would only defer to the landlord whose contact information they are withholding to protect him from legal solutions My husband has "threatened"

Review: Starting on March 31, 2012 we started our tenancy with Delta Star Management we did our own walk through because the person who we signed our lease with was too busy to do it with us. We noted the following issues the grout in the kitchen needed to be redone, the sliding glass door was put in backwards, along with the living room widow was not sealed properly. We have made several requests to get these items fixed we would point out those issues when we had the yearly inspection and we always got the same response they would need to talk with the owner and then we never heard anything more. Then we noticed that the tub was leaking we reported this and again we heard the same response we will get in touch with the owner. Finally after calling over and over again having to ask staff members at Delta Star Management when where the issues going to be fixed and every time that I called I would have to give them the list of issues of what needed to be done and still nothing was done. It was not until the middle of March that they finally sent out someone to fix the living room window and sliding glass door. Still the kitchen counter has not been fixed nor has the water damage in the upstairs bathroom. We have been given a 60 day notice to move out we strongly believe that they are doing this instead of fixing the issues. There have been so many people who used to work there we were constantly having to let them know that we needed to have those same issues fixed over and over again. Now it seems that they once again have another new office manager and instead of fixing the issues they want us to move out.Desired Settlement: We are wanting our security deposit back along with a positive rental reference to move to another location.

Dear Ms. [redacted], The owner of the property has decided to sell the property therefore you were given the proper 60 Day Notice to Terminate Tenancy. The owner’s decision to sell has nothing to do with your complaint. The repairs in question have been remedied as you mentioned. The settlement of your security deposit will be determined upon termination of your tenancy and the condition of the premises left upon vacating. We would be glad to provide your rental history from any written inquiry for your future location. We had hoped by you calling our office a similar explanation would have been given rather than filing this complaint. You are welcome to call our office should you have further questions.
