Warranty with his findings and was approved to correct those issues.  The home owner was not satisfied with the corrective actions.  He had wanted them to approve replacing the unit.  The technician was also informed that there had been another service company dispatched out on this same issue, with the same findings and that the home owner was not satisfied with that company's findings either.Sincerely,Chapman's Full Service Maintenance

I am rejecting this response because:The information provided by Chapmans Full Service is incorrect. The business prior to Chapmans did not provide the same diagnosis. The prior business had provided a diagnosis that the coils in the unit were leaking refrigerant and Home Warranty of America had authorized the entire unit to be replaced. The prior business to Chapmans did not have the means of replacing the unit, which is how Chapmans became involved in the Home Warranty Claim. Chapmans Full Service Technician came out to the site and provided a response that my pee trap had not been primed and the unit was unlevel causing it to leak water and continued to state that we were not a priority because he had another business that he was working on and that if a unit had to be replaced it would be about a month. I believe that he provided a bogus diagnosis because he did not want to do the work, or he was unqualified to be providing a diagnosis of the unit. After this was discovered to Home Warranty of America, they were rejecting my claim of replacing the unit, which caused even further sheet rock damage to my home. I had to hire another qualified company to come diagnose the unit, and it was discovered that the coils were leaking and the unit needed to be replaced. Home Warranty of America covered the majority of the cost of the unit, but I did have to come out of pocket instead of being able to use Chapmans Full Service for the repair.I would like Chapmans to be responsible for the extra damage caused to my sheet rock due to their bogus diagnosis provided to Home Warranty of America and the lack of communication when they provided this diagnosis causing the delay in the unit being replaced.
