I would like to ask some questions to the customer: Why on the day of the move the $discount was sufficient and you accepted it? Why do you want $now? How does years old boy make estimates for something he have been collected starting 4? Why did you use this estimate in the official correspondence? Thank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
The first move was on June 28 and not June 30.Movers did leave a large folding table behind, that I had to ask my friend with the bigger car to move for me, which was very problematic. Not everything intended to go to the dumpster went into the dumpster. One of the movers took a coffee table without telling .The antique table is worth $250, based on the value of the same table by the same brand, also from 1930s. The table was not properly packed and NOT wrapped in anything at all. The issue was not the glue, piece of wood off the leg got broken due to unprofessional packaging job. $20 provided is not sufficient. The replacement value of the table is $250. The photos of dishes that I took was AFTER I unpacked them from the bubble wrap.I did not check to see if the track was empty after the second move, as movers were in a rush to get to the next job.  During the second move I did say to one of the movers:"Careful, these are boxes with [redacted]s."The price estimate of $250 for [redacted]s was an estimate by my 11 year old son. When I got the actual price estimate based on empty [redacted] boxes that I still have, it is $1964, including the box and the bag that they were housed in. The mirror was also lost. I have submitted a claim to the insurance Co that Anton's Movers use, and still waiting to hear back. I was informed by insurance Co that lost/stolen items might not be covered by their policy. The total value of stolen/lost/broken items is $2444, and not $450 that was offered to me by Anton's Movers. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

On June 30th, we moved most of [redacted] belongings from her apartment in Newton to storage in Sharon that she has rented. Some stuff was left at the origin ([redacted] told us her friend will pick it up), some stuff went to the dumpster, as requested by customer. We didn't check what went to the...

dumpster nor left at the house. At the storage the truck was fully unloaded. On July 10th we moved everything that was in the storage and delivered to customers new apartment in Sharon. The truck was unloaded. There was nothing left in the truck. After every move truck was checked and customer signed contracts: "I have inspected my goods and premises, including but not limited to elevators, floors, walls and stairwells. Goods received in good condition. There are no damages except as noted in comments. The cab and the back of the moving truck are empty and job is completed. "The only issue that happened was 1937 antique table. In 79 years original glue dried out and, when we lifted up the table, the leg fell off. It was NOT broken. We tried to resolve the issue and offered to glue the leg back or $20 discount, which was accepted by the customer. A week after the move on July 18th [redacted] contacted us:"I'm missing $450 worth of [redacted]s in the large clear plastic drawer cart..." and "dishes got broken inside the box...". Based on photos, provided by the customer, the dishes were not packed properly: no bobble-wrap, no packing paper… We can’t be responsible for stuff we didn’t pack. That’s why all customers have to sign the contract in the begging of the job under Declaration of Value, that has exclusions:“...Items found broken in boxes not packed by Anton's Movers, Inc. … Furniture with the original glue dried out…” Both Declarations of Value in the contract were signed by the customer at the beginning of every job.We didn’t loose nor steal kids [redacted]. It is impossible not to notice that size plastic cart in the empty truck. We asked [redacted] to check the apartment she moved from and her storage that we had no access to. And I tried my best to resolve the issue and promptly offered her $450, as she claimed. However the next day I got the response: “$450 will not work, sorry. … Value of the [redacted]s will be at least close to $2000…”Copy of contracts and email correspondence cude be provided at your request.
