City/Location Reviewed: Scarborough Town Centre December 19, To whom it may concern: I went to Scarborough Town Centre's Foot Locker (with my husband and kid) to purchase a pair of shoes for my father this ChristmasIt was really a tough decision because my dad hasn't purchase any shoes for more than yearsSo we decided to ask some assistance with our purchaseLuckily, one of your associate, Jade, was willing to help us outIt took us boxes of different shoes to go through with our purchaseWe are so thankful on how she's so patient and helpful! She's very knowledgeable with your products and help us find what we neededShe also offered a gift receipt just in case On the other note, however, one of your cashiers was surprisingly the oppositeWe went to cash out our purchase and this young lady asked us who helped us outWell, most of us would forget I'm very sure, especially when your store was busy (she's serving other customers); Jade forgot to mention her name to usIt's alright though, we remembered her face and glanced the store to at least point her outThat's when your front liner (cashier) said, "Well, she's NOT doing her job!", said with an attitude, which we find very rudeAs awkward as it is, she continued on with cashing us outMay I please mention that she's not very customer focused? As we were doing the transaction, the lady told us our total for the [redacted] shoes and I told her "debit please", I was ignoredShe went to the other cashier and talked to her and came back to me, touched the debit machine and that's when I said "debit please" for the second timeShe wasn't a 100% focused, it's actually making me angry that time, so I said "debit please" for the third time a little louderI guessed she noticed that the transaction is taking longer than usual and asked me "debit or credit?"I don't understand and I do not know how to feel about that experience I just had WE were ready to fire back with the useless customer service we experience, especially the attitude she gave us in regards to Jade, and as well because as the face of your store, she should know better and she should know team work as wellBut we believe she is NOT worth our time, nor we want negativity to ruin our day so we approached Jade insteadWe express our thanks to her so my husband came up to her and told her how grateful we are that she's served us and "You're doing an awesome job, keep it up!"I saw the cashier watched my husband approached Jade and called your associate and told her (as what my husband heard) "you should tell the customers your name.." My husband and I have experience in customer service for more than yearsAs one of the leading 'branded' retailer, especially in footwear and apparel, this is not what we expected our visit should be

I went to Scarborough Town Centre's Foot Locker (with my husband and kid) to purchase a pair of shoes for my father this Christmas. It was really a tough decision because my dad hasn't purchase any shoes for more than 7 years. So we decided to ask some assistance with our purchase. Luckily, one of your associate, Jade, was willing to help us out. It took us 3 boxes of different shoes to go through with our purchase. We are so thankful on how she's so patient and helpful! She's very knowledgeable with your products and help us find what we needed. She also offered a gift receipt just in case.

On the other note, however, one of your cashiers was surprisingly the opposite. We went to cash out our purchase and this young lady asked us who helped us out. My husband and I have experience in customer service for more than 9 years. As one of the leading 'branded' retailer, especially in footwear and apparel, this is not what we expected our visit should be.
