Mr *** did contact our company stating that the vehicle had issues and he was having problems with getting the warranty company to cover the issuesWe immediately advised Mr *** to bring the vehicle to our designated shop to have the water pump repaired ASAP to get the vehicle back on the road
We also immediely called the warranty company to address why they were denying the initial claimIt was discovered that because we the dealer had not yet been billed that the warranty company was simply awaiting payment to authorize any repairsIf Mr *** as any further concerns with the 3rd party warranty we would be happy to address them and work toward getting them resolvedBeing that the vehicle was purchased and yet we showed good faith and covered the water pump we consider this matter closedWe certainly cannot predict future breakdowns however do value Mr *** business; if he has any other needs we would encourage him to let us know

The corvette purchased was in fact priced several months earlier for a winter off-season sales price of $22,995. When spring came around we decided to put brand new tires on the vehicle in order to help it sell. We then allowed for this cost and marked the sale price to $23,995. Mr [redacted] was well...

aware of the price of $23,995 because this was the advertised sale price at the time of sale. Also, never once did Mr [redacted] raise a concern to any of our employees during the transaction or even weeks after when he stopped by to get his license plates. We can also provide text message proof that before this complaint Mr [redacted] never once relayed his concern about being rushed or pressured into the purchase. When Mr. [redacted] purchased the vehicle he acknowledged the sales price on several documents and even signed several disclosures. Although we sincerely appreciate Mr [redacted] business, coming back months later and demanding a refund is not a reasonable option. Here at Footh Auto Sales we pride ourselves in being 100% transparent and taking care of everyone. Given the facts of this complaint we consider the matter closed. We would also gladly sell Mr [redacted] a warranty at our cost if he is interested in buying one.

Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2015/08/19) */
We were able to review the claim by Ms. [redacted] and had the chance to speak with an individual that called this afternoon. After some questions in the conversation I discovered that the person on the phone was in fact not the buyer or the co-buyer of the Cadillac CTS. I discovered this at approximately 5:36pm on 8/18/15 after speaking with the actual Ms. [redacted]. Ms [redacted] then told me that she was aware of the issue with the vehicle and stated that the person claiming to be her was actually an individual by the name of Tara. I then updated Ms [redacted] of the conversation that took place and told her that we offered to have the vehicle inspected by our mechanic and take steps necessary to get the vehicle back on the road. Ms [redacted] also stated that she was not aware that the Revdex.com complaint was filed however she did state that she supported the claim being made. In addition, the complaint stated that there was a charge of $43 for wheelage tax, which after research I found to be true. Our finance director included in this fee wheelage tax, transit tax, and an expedite title fee. Because it was our mistake for not individually listing the itemized charges I will be issuing a refund of $33 to Ms. [redacted]. This check will be sent via USPS on 8/18/15 in a priority envelope with delivery confirmation signature being required.
The individual we spoke with earlier on the phone stated that they were in the process of retaining an attorney and that they would only accept returning the vehicle as an option. I notified her that returning the vehicle was NOT an option however I informed her that I would be glad to assist in getting the vehicle back on the road even though they signed As-IS No Warranty form accepting that at the time of sale no warranty was implied or purchased.
At this time we request that Ms [redacted] forward us the information of the attorney that she retained so that we may correspond accordingly.

I am rejecting this response because The price of 23,995 was never stated as the sales price, I also have screenshots date of purchase that the listed price was still 22,995. I would not be wasting my time if this price was previously agreed. The battery and $1000 unknowingly added to the list price is pushed me to complain. The signing of the loan papers was around their closing time, all he told me was the final cost which was almost 26k he told me where to sign and innitial when I tried looking at any of it he pushed a new paper in my face and said sign here. I was excited to buy this car and I should have just walked out at that point and waited for a day when I had more time to go over things but they had pointed out a copy of an id of a man and said this guy also applied for a loan for this car. I just want a fair outcome thats all im asking for. I feel the way they treated me and rushing me through the signing of the loan and showing me someones photo saying they had applied for a loan also was a bit wrong and innitially pressured me to make the purchase without allowing time to think it over. If they are not willing to correct their wrongs I would be happy to let them buy the car back at the purchase cost they sold it to me for, they did not quote me for a extended warranty which I had asked multiple times that day so it could be included into my loan nor did they quote it weeks later when I picked up my plates and told them about the battery. I had sent a text about the battery in which no response was issued. This company is definitely not a company for the people and in my personal opinion think the Revdex.com should not back a place like this. The extended warranty I can not afford to purchase without it being in my loan. I uploaded a screenshot in which I stated the battery had failed, as you can see this screenshot is after they deleted texts from my phone, any company that has to delete their text from an individuals phone really shows a true side.
