I was led to believe that my first visit with Dr. H would be free as is stated on multiple pages of their website and can be noted via the following links:

I confirmed the visit would be free with the receptionist when I scheduled the appointment. I also confirmed this when I arrived for my appointment.
I was told the appointment would last 1 hour, but it took nearly 2 (I waited somewhere between 30 minutes and an hour just to be taken back to an exam room). I asked the doctor three times not to adjust my neck, but he dismissed my concerns each time and ended up adjusting it. He told me I should come back 3 times/week for 4 weeks.
I only gave them my insurance cards so they could inquire about what my coverage would be and follow up with me. After reflecting on the appointment and H' lack of regard for my comfort with his treatment decisions and actions, I decided to not go back. They called me repeatedly to schedule another appointment and mailed me gift certificates to hand out to friends. I told them, plainly, that I found their business practices and Dr. H' care to be awful and asked them to stop calling.
Three months later I received a bill in the mail for services rendered on the day of my first (and only) appointment with Dr. H; the one that was supposed to be free. I called the clinic and they assured me they understood my concerns and would call me back. It's been over a week and I've heard nothing from the clinic. I also called my insurance company as it seems like insurance fraud to reel customers in with advertisements of free first consultations and then bill them and their insurance.
I'm so disgusted with Dr. H. They need to *adjusttheir website and/or business practices.

Finally she receives her statement from the insurance company and she owes a small bill. She thinks everything is free. It clearly shows on our website consultations are free, not treatment. Then all of asudden, the office visit turned into the worst day of her life. The office staff are liars and abusive, the doctor doesn't care, treatment without consent, office visit took forever, etc. Amazing the depths someone would go, to escape a bill. If for some reason this person didn't know the difference between consultation and treatment, which has never happened. We did go ahead and excuse the bill. Our office has been in business for over thirty years, never having any complaints such as this. Unfortunately we have been the victim of an confused angry individual.

I am rejecting this response because:The response is rude and makes false accusations. Unfortunately, it's about what I'd expect from their representative. I called the clinic as soon as the bill arrived. I had no reason to contact them between the date I was there and the date the bill arrived because I had no interest in going back (for reasons stated in my original complaint). When the bill arrived, I called promptly, shared my concerns, and was told I would be called back by the very person who responded here. Had she contacted me, as promised, I would not have felt the need to complain to the Revdex.com. As far as I'm concerned, this complaint will be considered resolved when a corrected statement comes in the mail showing I owe this clinic nothing. Regards
