To whom it may concern.This is in regards to complaint from [redacted] Customer purchased reading glasses in april not june of She has enjoyed them for months.When customer came into the store, my store manager was by no means ignoring her, but was busy with another consumer in the upstairs sale roomWhen the manager came to assist the customer, she had already decided that she wanted a new pair of glassesUnfortunately we do not replace glasses that have been worn for monthsThese particular reading glasses are very difficult to break, and are made of a rubber compound and it would take extreme force or carelessness in a consumers hand to break these Since this is an accessory item that is used daily, I cant really be expected to know how they were maintainedThey come with a soft case for storage If you purchase perscription glasses at any optical store and you break them, they are not going to just give you another pairThis certainly applies with most purchases that the product was handled all day, and requires some extra care.As a side note these glasses are made to not break under circumstances and the company has had 0% returns for breakageI can only assume that there was some abuse by consumer in the care of them.I felt that we were generous in even offering a discount on a replacement pair, as it isnt something I needed to offer.Yes this consumer has purchased footwear in the past from our sale loft and seems to have enjoyed her productsBut glasses, like jewelry or any other type of accessory items, you cant buy them brand new and then try to return because they are brokenThey were not broken when they were purchased.Sincerely [redacted]

Unfortunately we do not replace glasses that have been worn for 6 months. These particular reading glasses are very difficult to break, and are made of a rubber compound and it would take extreme force or carelessness in a consumers hand to break these.  Since this is an accessory item that is used daily, I cant really be expected to know how they were maintained. Have not abused these. Purchased from the sale shoes implies I am somehow a lesser client. I have purchased full price and sale price. Arrogance and lack of user experience is sad. Won't be purchasing again and will continue to let others know about poor service.
