Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2016/10/14) */
Yes Miss *** did purchase a V.WBeetle from meThis sale was an transaction with no warranty and Miss *** accepted and received this vehicle in its current condition at the discounted price of *** She entered into
this transaction with eyes wide open and I showed her that it has a coolant pressure leak from a plastic junction casing that was cracked and allowing coolant to steam out when coolant gets low...I then drove with her miles to car wash and I demonstrated to her what will happen if coolant lever gets lowWe got to the car wash and the temp light came on and by the end of wash and we were heading back to my car lot and we did notice slight steaming from under the hood...KBB pricing valve was at *** with *** miles on it an she offered me *** in its current conditionI included a replacement drivers side door identical color because this one had some damage on it due to someone backed up into it, but she never return to get it (it wouldn't fit in the hatchback)I accepted her offer and I wished her good luck with the carI did nothing wrong and with great diligence I told and showed her everything I knew that was wrong with the car and she stated that she worked at a shop and could get everything fixed so I have no reservations or regrets whatsoever I told her everything I knew about this car and she accepted it in its current condition

To whom it may concern,The contractual agreement true enough was to resurface the delaminated floor, recalk the seams of the polymer structured wallsAs stated by the *** prior to calling us the pool was reported to have a leak, the leak could have been in the plumbing,or could have been in the
walls of the poolIt was strongly suggested by Mr*** that the leak would be found in the joints were each individual wall butts up and we were asked to clean those areas and reseal them, which we didEmployees were instructed under no circumstances to remove any of the existing original gasket as there would be no way to replace it, upon making my daily inspection of work performed I found my employees removing sections of that gasket under the direction of Mr*** prior to that Mr*** had instructed my employees to use a chipping hammer on the already weakening floor of the poolAfter meeting with my employees and instructing them to no longer follow the instructions of Mr*** I held that same conversation with Mr*** insisting that if he had any further suggestions to go through meNevertheless if Mr*** has a warranty issue he only needs to submit photos of the problem area and a list of any deficiencies he may find to ** *** *** *** *** ** *** Additionally for the record Mr*** was given a $rebate midway through the project for his time spent cleaning the walls of the poolThis was performed after the resurfacing of the floor with chemicals not recommended for a brand new surfaceWe do not feel these chemicals led to any issues with the floor but are just another example of his hands on intervention in this processShould the Revdex.com feel it necessary to set up a mediation please notify *** at ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The information in the response does not address the complaint Mr*** told me several times that he would be back to look at the leak situation. After several failed attempts to make contact, I got in touch with Mr*** by calling from a different number and he said he wanted to schedule a time to look at it and he’d call me back laterI have not heard from him since 5/(now a month later)I expected some resolution one way or another with the leak. If they looked and determined that the leak was not related to their repair I would be contentMr*** also said their service included balancing the pool which was never completed To address Mr*** statements that I told his employees to remove the gasket, I asked Mr*** the day before performing the work if they would cut the gasket out to get new sealant in the seamsHe replied that, yes, they would do thatThe next day when the employees caulked over the old gasket I mentioned that Mr*** told me they would be removing itWhen Mr*** came to the site, his employee was cutting out the gasket with a pocket knife he then proceeded to use a grinder to remove the gasket from the pool seams The grinder removed the gel coat from the fiberglass and made several holes into the fiberglass itself outside of the seam where the grinder jumped out of the seamMore than areas also had the gel coat chipped off outside of the seam and left fiberglass exposed in some areas as large as a quarterOn other occasions Mr*** mentioned to me that you don’t want to do anything to remove the gel coat as that exposes fiberglass to the pool water and swimmersThe $rebate was paid to cover the gel coat repair that was done for the damage caused from the grinder and pocket knife that were usedThe fiberglass wall cleaning I did was due to hardened plaster splatter left behind by the plasterers as well as black algae stains that were never removedI used diluted pool acid and elbow grease to clean the walls Direct contact with the cleaning solution and brand new surface was prevented by the pool being filled with water past the plaster levelI also caulked areas that were supposed to have been caulked and some that were caulked but had apparent holes. Regarding using a chipping hammer, the employees were using a framing hammer to smash the floor of the pool to remove old plasterI have a hammer drill with a chipper that would have been less destructive by getting between the plaster to be removed and the concreteI had not instructed anyone to use this method but merely offered a less labor-intensive option on a hot day I find my hanintervention was necessary to ensure that my pool was not refilled with plaster splatter on the walls, chipped gelcoat, and unfinished caulkingRegards,

detailed explanation. Thank you,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: If this business does not wish to honor the refund as promised, I would be happy to bring the documentation to mediation that shows the owner twice saying I will receive the refund.  I would like to request that the B.B.B. Schedule a mediation with Frogs Pool Service unless they want to simply pay back the money owed to me.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: This is the first time I am hearing about a "trip charge".  I was never made aware of any additional charges and I'm unsure what a trip charge is.  We paid upfront for any services provided by this company and were not told of anything additional.  Also, they never responded to any of my phone calls and only responded to one text to say the refund "should have already been sent".
Regards,
