Ok, so we posted the review originally to close the dealWe were hounded for a review by the sales managerNot to much surprised, we were then helpedThis was the most disappointing car buying experience ever
Let's start from the beginningwe had a salesman show us a car the car we called aboutIt was advertised onlineHe insisted it was the same car even though the stock number was different , the color, model, AND priceThis salesman was fired as we found out, the very next dayI honestly can say I have never seen someone so inibriated or hyped up
The lies continuedAs we found the right car the line items were presented to usBeing in the financials realm of work, I knew it was fishyThere was a $no tax add onWe sent it back because that was odd and we did not agree with itHe continued to say it was gap insurance, then changed it to a flat fee for car buyingAgain, a lieWe leftIt was a car that was 6k less and exactly the same from a competitor, but financed at a lower rate, ended up being being 2k more
The next day the Internet manager called and got the payment and price to the right amountWe treed over there yet again in hrs of traffic
Upon getting there he wasn't to be found and no notes were made to honor the dealThey put two more lone item deals in front of usBoth exorbitant againHe leaves for maybe minutes and says we are honoring what you were told as we looked back at the phone recordingOk, hold onNot that it matters, except for in privacy (and helpful honestly), but the record g was not disclosed prior to the outgoing g call being made to usIt is a two party statethere must be disclosureClass action for other buyers? Kidding
So we got the deal in the end, but wait, there's more! The car at inspection was deemed to need repairs (brand new car with miles)It had a one inch gash on the hood that passed the clear coat, two inch scratches across the trunk and ford emblem, and scratches on the exterior side panel of the passenger side to the rear passenger side
We were cautious to have a due bill and "diagram" of the inspection signed by the manager with a date and time for the appt to fix theseUpon returning for the THIRD time and driving yet again from the beach cities, we were disappointed one last time
No service attendant came to us, no service managerNothing was communicatedThe car was taken and the paperwork we hadWaited hours for what was told to us by the salesman would take hourThe clay ed and etailed the outside of the carCool...but the scratches were all still thereEveryone we spoke to pointed fingers at the next person in another deptNo one had accountability or common customer service practices under their beltIt was very aggressive and unprofessionalNot to mention during our elongated wait, the SERVICE MANAGER tapped on the window and said HEY to grab the lady next to usWell, her car was done, and so was he, I guessShe even scoffed in the ridiculousness of how she was treated
Nothing was solvedNothing was done about the damage in that visitThe got my girl a rental, took the new car to the auto body shop nearby (cpuldnt tell us which one), and said they'd pick up the rental when they drop off the car to her home
We get to *** great guys by the way, and disclosed that the Ford tech would return the carNot something you can do because the liability would be on her not the dealershipSo no was the answerShe then called the dealership and he said no, we do it all the timeWe solved the problem by saying we will switch cars at a local***He responded with "well, then we are out of a car"Not our problem Ford of West CovinaGet your stuff together and value the customer
Reading reviews of others now, really should have deterred us, our badThey can brag about *** closing down the street, but they cannot avoid it either without value and quality for their consumerGood luck with your buying experience and I strongly recommend not bringing your business here
P.sthe folks next to us in the showroom fell for the add on and that was financed, for what? Who knows
