Review: I had purchased a pair of head phones for my cell phone on September ** 2013 at 4:38 pm I walked out the store plugged them into my phone t listen to music. I noticed the volume started to go up and down and I also started to hear static. I returned to the store to ask for a refund or exchange and was asked to let them see the headphones. They tried them out on their phone and then mine and said it works perfectly fine and wouldnt give me a refund or exchange. I went home with the head phones had my friends try them and they also noticed that they did not work properly. I was given a receipt with my purchase only cause I had asked for one and it states their is a 7 day exchange policy policy and I was not given any exchange or helped at all.Desired Settlement: I would just like to be given my cash back so I can go to another location and buy a different pair of head phones.

Sincerely,

Review: I went in to Fordham Wireless INC on Saturday, October [redacted] 2014. I went in withthe intentions of buying a new cellular device with T-Mobile service. I selected a phone to purchase and was told several times by the [redacted], who's name is [redacted] and his sales associate [redacted] that the total cost of my purchase would be $240.00

I agreed to pay $240.00 for what they told me was the total price of the phone as well as starting a new line of service with T-Mobile.

I agreed to $240.00. AFTER I had handed my debit card to the sales associate at Fordham Wireless INC, Irecieved a receipt for the amonunt of $337.52. That was NOT the price I was told the purchase amount would be. I had NOT agreed to $337.52. I HAD agreed to $240.00

I immediately saw on the receipt that I had been charged $15.00 for a memory card. $35.00 for an activation fee, and $20 for a T-mobile SIM card, and $27.26 in taxes.

When I tried to dispute these additional fees that were unbeknowst to me, the [redacted] and sales associated REFUSED to give me a full refund. After arguing in the store with them. They issued me a refund of $255.00 $240.00 for the cost of the phone which was supposed to be the total cost of everything and a $15.00 refund for the memory card I had unawaringly been charged. for.

NEITHER THE [redacted] NOR SALES ASSOCIATE HAD BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THESE ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS AND CHARGES. I asked for a refund in FULL as I didn't leave with the phone or accessories and was told by the [redacted] several times "I can't".

I spoke to a T-Mobile representative from T-Mobile headquarters and was told that T-Mobile DOES NOT charge new customers an activation fee. I brought that to the attention of the employees at Fordham Wireless INC, and was told "We're not T-Mobile".

I then said but you guys are offering products and services through T-Mobile and falsely charging customers for activation fees to become T-Mobile customers when T-Mobile doesn't charge fees for activation of any kind.

in total I was charged $337 when I agreed to and was told the total cost of everything would be $240.

I was scammed, I was lied to, I was tricked and I believe I should have received a refund in FULL from Fordham Wireless INC because of the simple fact that they sneakily charged me for additional products and fees I was NOT informed about. When I complained I was told by the sales associate and [redacted]. "I should have known I would be charged a fee for one time activation and for the SIM card."

That is outrageous to me. I used to work in retail sales and before charging a customer anything you are to present them with a grand total of what they will be purchasing.

I am positive that I am not the first one, nor will I be the last one they have done this too.

I contacted my bank and my bank is disputing the issue and working on refunding me my money. I have contacted T-Mobile and filed a complaint against Fordham Wireless INC.Desired Settlement: I would liek to be refunded the $20 for the SIM Card, the $35 dollars for the bogus "activation fee", and the $28 in taxes. As I was unaware of these fees when my debit card was swiped.
