Review: On July the [redacted] my cousin had purchased an iphone from this store, I was there with her during the transaction. We had told the sales clerk [redacted] that we needed an iphone that was unlocked because the phone was to be used overseas. He pulled out a gold phone and presented it to us, my cousin [redacted] had said she wanted a silver one. [redacted] asked his [redacted] and told us the store did not have any at the moment. She settled for the gold one, we asked if the phone was unlocked and in working condition. The clerk turned on the phone to show us it was working. Throughout the entire process it seemed as though [redacted] and another female sales clerk were laughing about something, we didn't think much of it.

We purchased the phone and [redacted] left for Canada a couple days later. She called me about four days after the purchase of the phone and informed me that this was a stolen phone and the IMEI number was blocked by an insurance company, this was also not an unlocked phone the carrier was t-mobile. I went to the store three times and spoke to the [redacted], he was barely helpful and used an accusing tone saying that we could have switched the phones because the imei on the phone did not match the one on the box. I have been trying to speak to the owner but every time I am at the store he is not there, I was told that he'd be at the store at a certain time and he was not there either.

The [redacted] claimed that the box was sealed, that is not the case the box was unsealed not only that but after inspection all of the iphone boxes are unsealed at the store. The box also has different carriers hand written in the back of it, ATT and version crossed out and lastly T-mobile.

When going to purchase an item from a store you put your trust into the sales associate and those who are running the business, it had not occurred to us to check if the imei's matched, we put faith in your business.Desired Settlement: We desire a refund at this point, we no longer trust your business. I've seen another unsatisfied costumer come and complain and saw the manger cursing at her and her kids, it shows your store has no respect for its patrons. I have been extremely nice and polite throughout this process hoping to come to an agreeable conclusion but it seems that the [redacted] has no interest in solving this issue. There is no doubt in my mind that there were more customers that were scammed like this and there are more stolen phones in the store.

If the owner chooses to ignore my request I am ready and able to take legal action.
