Review: After the encounter with the worker at the store, they were yelling at me and being extreamly rude. I came home and my blood pressure became extreamly high witch is not normal for me. It caused me to stresss. I bought a cooling fan for a BMW 325I 2003 from this company on May 28 and the iteam was broken. I came with my daughter [redacted] to return the item because it was not usable. When I came into the store and calmly explained my situation the workers were super rude and did not want to do it. They would not return the item, they only said that they could just exchange it but I did not want to exchange it, I wanted my money back and I already got one good working condition and replace it. The workers were yelling at me and told me to leave the store, so they pressureed me into exchanging the item which I did not want to do. They said if you come back again with the exchanged fan then we will give you your money back the next time. So we believe in that what cashier said and exchanged on another one and back home. On June 2 2014 I can not go return item because I was working on my job I ask my wife to do return when she went again to their store FPS and tried to return it, one of the workers began the return procces until the another guy that was rude to me the first time came back and refused to return it. I have been buying from this company for a long time and never had problems before. But because they would not return my item and because of the horriable customer service I dont want to shop here anymore. I want a refund for the item I bought in full amount what I paid and I'm not sastified with their quality of product and service.Desired Settlement: The item I bought was a TYC COOLING FAN ASSEMB price( $188.18) I paid 138.18 with a CHASE ATM DEBIT VISA card and $50 with CASH. I would like my money back for this item in the full amount.

The customer purchased the TYC cooling fan from our store on May 28, 2014. On Friday May 30th he called Foreign Parts Specialties stating to the owner [redacted] over the phone that he installed the part and that it didn't work but he put his old unit back on and it still worked. The following morning the customer came in to our store and said he installed the item and the part was not working so he wanted his money back. We declined to return the part for a refund because as stated on all of our invoices there is no return on used items and all defective items must be replaced through Foreign Parts Specialties. Our employees asked him if he bought a replacement elsewhere and he stated he did. When we ask for proof of purchase from somewhere else he said that's not of your business and didn't want to show us. This means he misdiagnosed his car and thought our part was the problem used our part to test and tried to return a used item. The customer was not happy with our return policy and started to yell at our employees about reporting Foreign Parts Specialties to the Revdex.com. Never once did our employees told him to leave the store or was rude to the gentleman, what they did offer was a replacement for the bad unit which he accepted not pressured into. There was also a misunderstanding with him because we never said bring back the replacement part and we'll give your money back. Like every business we all have a return policy that's enforced to protect our customers and us. We understand that our item might have been defective but we did not have a problem replacing it for him. The part that we replaced for the bad part was never installed. He never tried to install the part and tried to return it as a new part. We will not refund this customer in full because our policy backs up our reasoning as stated above.

I believe I purchased from you for TYC cooling fan as working condition but you sold broken not working condition I mean electric module on your fan didn't work and I have witness on that matter. I already return for you same condition what you sold for me that fan nothing damaged only on this fan electric module didn't work its easy test. Now I have this one I didn't check yet it may also this is doesn't work or maybe it in working condition the one reason why I need my refund I don't like the quality parts what you sold for me and I need my money back I work for my money hard and I been in my business for more than 15 years with cars and first time I see like this service it look like as you try to harass me on it.

We didn't sell a broken item to [redacted]. What happened was he tested our part to see if it would fix the problem and when the part didn't fix his problem he put his old one back on because that wasn't the problem on his car. Our return policy says no return on installed items and he clearly stated to us he installed the part and it didn't work so he put his old part "still working" back on. As far as quality on parts we sell to all shops in the sacramento area even to the dealerships. So quality is not an issue with us as we have been in business since 1981. We've also done research on this part and have had no returns of the part not working. Again we are not issuing a refund to Mr. [redacted].
