Forest Lake Chevrolet Cadillac Reviews (20)

On February 20th Shop Manager Patrick N [redacted] visited the site, and secured two shingles that were loose, he determined the shingles were properly installedA building that was built September of and has not had a history of shingle problems would also indicate the shingles were installed properly The standard warranty on shingles from the manufacturer covers up to mile an hour windsOur warranty is for the floor and siding against rot and termites infestationWe went above and beyond what our contract readsThank you for your time Jonathan W [redacted]

After numerous visits we were unable to see any sign of water damage or leaking vents, the floor is pressure treated and if it had leaked I am unsure how this would damage the floor, the roof showed no sign of leaking Skip used caulk to keep the customer happyIn order to build the building we have to have it perfectly level, the building would have been perfectly level so every piece fit, the building settled whether from erosion or damp soilIn order to install an overhead door properly the building had to be level as for adding trim we add trim around the door if we install the doorWe were called to fix the door and the "leaking vents" ...The deck was not removed for Skip to level, he was right not to tamper with the deck and possible damage someone else's handy workThe roof was not leaking the treated floor could have seeped water from the treatment on hot days giving the illusion of a leak but again, no water damageThe warranty does not cover settling of a building but as a courtesy all we asked was for the customer to move the attached deckIf the door is not working properly still after being leveled contact Lowes why would they put a door in a crooked opening? Why is the rest of the building square if we built it out of level? $to tell you the roof vent was not installed properly but they could fix it seems like the contractor made a quick dimeKind Regards Josh [redacted]

I have been informed by my Service Manager Kelly H that this issue has been resolved and the customer is happy

I am rejecting this response because: I am not "happy" I had to pay $to get my car fixed that I literally bought months agoI had to take time out of my job to call them about the problem several time just to argue about itWhich they still refused to acknowledge the factsThey just continued to blame meI brought it in twice within the first days of having it, complaining of problems and nothing was ever doneAll I want is a refund for the repairs that could have been prevented

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, [redacted]

E-mail received from Mike [redacted] , Operations Manager: I have left [redacted] messages since receipt of the letter We are willing to refund the customer the $for the Fuel Injection Service At this point I would ask you to please close the complaint

The building was constructed we framed for the overhead door he had installed by Lowes. If the building was out of level the door would not have fit. The roof vents were provided by the customer for us to install, which we did following manufacturers instructions. No water damage was found in the... building but we did used roofers caulk all around the vents. The customer did not complain until over a year after construction. The building was built close to the house which drains under the building and has caused erosion and the barn settled, which would make the door(Lowes installed for him) difficult to work. The customer built a deck around the front of building and is permanently attached to the building. We cannot safely (without damage) remove the deck so we could level. In conclusion we did not install the door, the customer complained after his drainage caused the building to settle, we could not level the building because the customer remove the deck. Absolutely no water damage found after three visits. The building needed leveled and we could not, had the deck been removed we could have helped. Had the drainage been directed away from the foundation these problems would not have happened. Patrick [redacted] Manager Jonathan [redacted] Owner

[redacted]  I have documentation, receipts, and pictures of all of the issues which I will bring to small claims court along with sworn statements from each of the professional repairmen that I used. I am only asking for what I have paid out of my pocket. Pay up or I will see you in court. Is this what you want?

We had the vehicle in to check out the complaint. We found that the airbag has not been tampered with. It is perfectly normal. There is nothing we can do about it. It is simply the design of the dash, and interior of the car.

I have been informed by my Service Manager Kelly H.  that this issue has been resolved and the customer is happy.
