I am rejecting this response because: First of all, it is a flat out lie that the service department has been trying to contact me I have not had any calls or messages until today when the service advisor Mike just called immediately following this response from the Revdex.com I would be happy to provide call records to show I have not received a call With the service I have received from this dealership along with the countless unreturned messages, I am not surprised Especially since the response is coming from the GM Ryan [redacted] , who also did not respond to my email or my call This vehicle has been in the dealership's possession for weeks THIS TIME AROUND It was dropped off on 11/28/and to receive a call from service on 12/20/stating that repairs were just authorized is ridiculous In regards to the transmission, the first technician documented "Shifts from first to second just fineShifts into third hard and at RPMS but then down shift's back to second and stays thereFluid level is ok" There is definitely a problem and this vehicle should not have been sold with a transmission issue The transmission issue occurs in tow/haul mode The other thing I find funny about the call I received is Mike from service states he "JUST" received authorization for the repairs How could this be the case if they have tried to contact me several times? Again, I have been more than patient with this poor service and I would like a refund At this point the vehicle has been in the dealerships possession more than mine

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me assuming they follow through

Dear ***, We have received your Revdex.com complaint and have reviewed the information. After speaking with the service advisor, they said that they have been calling you and have not heard back from you in quite some time. We have authorized the repairs that are needed on the
vehicle. We will be providing a new Navigation DVD so you have the latest map package from Cadillac. We are also going to replace the rear main seal on the vehicle which is what is causing the oil leak. The tire will be seeded and resealed so you shouldn't have any problems going forward. As far as having any issues with the transmission, we have driven the vehicle many times and have not been able to duplicate any issues. Please contact us at your earliest convenience so you can pick up your vehicle. We will not be taking the vehicle back. Thank you, Ryan ***General ManagerForest Lake Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram

I am rejecting this response because:
My paperwork wasn’t processed immediately because this process was started in DECEMBER, and only now seeing some resolvement in late APRILThe proper paperwork was filled out in JanuaryDue to the lack of urgency with this business, I had to pay over $since I was unable to refinance at a much lower interest rate with my bank

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/09/29) */
RE:***
We did sell a Dodge Durango back in February A complete safety inspection was completed on the vehicleDuring the inspection the brakes were found to be in good condition with more that a minimum spec required to be
safeThere was approximately 40% brake life left on the vehicle when it was inspectedThe front and rear differential fluid isn't even recommended to be looked at by the manufacturer until 48,Due to the fact that the vehicle was sold with just over 37,miles, we never inspected the differential fluid as it is not recommendedThe transfer case isn't recommended by the factory to look at or change until 64,Again, since the vehicle was sold with just over 37,miles we did not change or inspect the fluidAt the time of inspection, we did find that there was condensation in the drivers front headlightWe replaced this headlightWe did not replace the other headlight as there was no problem with it
We are happy to pay for the license plate bracket and reimburse the customer for the fuel that they used to get to the dealershipOur goal is to always have complete customer satisfactionI don't believe that doing a brake job on a vehicle that still has 40% brake life makes any senseI also don't think doing fluid flushes prior to the manufacturers recommended miles makes any senseWe have not had the opportunity to service the customer since Feb 14, I see no records that the customers has attempted to have us do anything since then
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2015/10/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
A "complete" inspection was done, yet you are admitting to not checking the transfer case and differential fluidWhat else was/was not checked? Our Duluth dealership has requested the safety inspected as well as me personallyWe still want to see this safety inspection that was performed to go into our records
Brakes typically last 30k-50kHow is that in less than a month the pads went from 40% to less than 10% life and in caution deemed not safe? Again, I'd like to see the inspection report for this
As for the condensation in the headlight, I have a picture of the truck on the lot with the fog in the passenger headlightWe inquired to our salesperson about this and we were told that it was just condensation from the truck being freshly washed and it will go awayThat never happenedWhat was it that was wrong with the driver's side headlight that wouldn't be wrong with the passenger headlight?
An issue that was never responded back about was about the truck being in an accidentThere is a different color on the bumper and part of the back hatch doorWas this vehicle in an accident? If that were to be disclosed to us, the truck would not have been purchased
Go ahead and pay for the bracket which is what we demanded several times and you steadily refusedAlso, the gas would be nice for the wasted trip for the key, but we will not drive down there for you to fill up the tankDriving down there, then miles back home would be 3/of a tank of gas and most definitely not worth our timeOur resolution desired is still as we initially statedPictures attached that were taken the day of purchase and month after, are of the foggy headlight and the off-colored rear bumper
Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2015/11/07) */
A complete inspection was done prior to selling the vehicleI have a copy of the inspection which I have attached as well as the repair orders that were opened at the time of inspectionAs I stated to you earlier, we did not inspect the transfer case or differential fluids as the manufacturer does not recommend doing soWe inspect everything that is listed on our inspection unless additional items are required based on the manufacturers guidelinesWe did repair a headlight due to condensation being present at the time of inspectionWe did not replace the other headlight because there was no condensation present at the time of the inspectionAs I stated before, we are happy to pay for the license plate bracket and reimburse the for the fuel that was used to get hereI never asked that you come to the store for us to do thisIn your original requested resolution, you stated that you wanted $for the front license plate bracket, $for fuel, $for brakes, and you wanted us to pay to have your local Dodge dealer change the black front and rear differential fluid including the transfer case
As I stated before, the brakes had nearly 40% life left when the vehicle was inspected so we are declining to pay for brakesThe fluids are not recommended by the manufacturer so we are also declining to pay for any fluid changes
I didn't see a question in your original complaint in regards to getting information about an accidentI apologize, I must have missed that request
As to your concerns of an accident or accident historyWe have no records showing that the vehicle has been in any accident of any kindI pulled the latest carfax and it shows no record of any accident eitherI have also attached it for your records
I don't know about your question with the brakes as we were not the dealership that you had inspect the brakes after the purchaseWhen we inspected the brakes there was approximately 40% life leftPerhaps the dealership that recommended them did so prematurely in hopes to sell your work?
I will submit a check request today for the $and have it sent out to you early next week

*** * ***,We just received your concern from the Revdex.com of Minnesota. It looks as though you were given only partial information. It is standard practice in the automotive industry to not take returns on special order parts. This is to protect the company
from having parts ordered and no way to dispose of the parts after being returned. However, this should not have been handled as a special order part. We can easily use this part and we are happy to exchange the product. I apologize for the misinformation. Rick *** the parts manager should be reaching out to you shortly to get this rectified. If there is anything else I can do to be of assistance, please don't hesitate to call me at ###-###-####. Once again, I apologize this wasn't handled correctly to begin with. Thank you for your understanding, Ryan ***General ManagerForest Lake Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/02/10) */
The customer and service advisor comminication was an issue, the service advisor quoted a range for diagnosis of $75-$The customer thought it would only be the $The service advisor called the customer back, spoke to them and we cut the
customer a check for the difference due to the misunderstanding
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 8, 2016/02/11) */
Reached Mr *** by phoneConfirmed that he understands a check has been issued, and is on its way to him
Advised Mr *** that Revdex.com will be closing his complaint as 'Resolved' at this time, but that he can contact Revdex.com to have case re-opened if check does not reach him within timeframe indicated by dealership

my parts manager rick Beckman informed me that he has reached out to this customer to resolve this issue. please let me know If this is not accurate

Shifts into third hard and at 4000 RPMS but then down shift's back to second and stays there. Fluid level is ok" There is definitely a problem and this vehicle should not have been sold with a transmission issue.  The transmission issue occurs in tow/haul mode.  The other thing I find funny about the call I received is Mike from service states he "JUST" received authorization for the repairs.  How could this be the case if they have tried to contact me several times? This vehicle falls under the as is category due to the mileage and or year.  All of the issues you are claiming worked at the time of delivery.  And past our safety inspection.  In regards to the price I am not clear about what you are stating.  If you would like to discuss...

further you can contact me on my cell# ###-###-####
