Forest Lake dry cleaners dealt with *** *** on behalf of replacement of zippersMy counter help had her invoiced for two zipper replacementsWe contacted *** to let her know the price and when she didn't respond until after one week our seamstress replaced them for there was no hold on
them with issue of pricingWhen customer came to get them furious with pricing on the one, we took the price off clipping one zipper tooth (yet leaving zipper in functioning order! Unlike the zipper origionally dropped off). Customer was not alright with that she wanted the new zipper (full teeth) at no charge or her original zipper back that was 100% not functioning and was already told our seamstress no longer hadMy seamstress does not hold onto items that are broke and tried to explain the zipper replaced was much more expensive & durable then the one she removed(She always does that for she gives 100% guarantee on her work)I also looked at original invoice(nothing mentioned to hold until price oked) as well as speaking to my counter employee who helped her when she dropped the two offShe said "she dropped off to be replaced not putting these zippers on hold"I have full faith my employee is being honest with me.(Either way it is not her loss.) I am sorry *** feels she should have gotten both zippers replaced for the price of oneI wish I could afford to do business like that. Both items left here fully functioning for the price of one. I am rejecting this response because: I asked how much the zippers would coast. She told me she could give me the price of the shorts however she could not quote me the price of the jackets and she would have to call me back. On Saturday she called me , however I was not home. I called back on Monday and she said they were fixed already. When I got back from vacation a week later I went in to called to talk to the manager and that's when she was so rude to me on the phone I could not even get a word in edge wise. My daughter even commented in the backround when I asked who are you the manager ? I can't believe you would talk to a customer like that. When I came in to pick up the Jacket I wanted to speek to the counter person who helped me and they had let her go. Also I had my neighbor who is a seamstress in her own home who was busy at the time look at the zipper and there were 7 teeth pulled out of the zipper. I would never bring in any thing to be repaired  and not ask how much this will coast me., and want a estimate for the cost. Any business that would lie about there customers like this should not be in business. I have also heard stories of people picking up things smelling like dogs lately and it makes sense to me now I asked if the also do dog grooming and the counter person says she brings her dogs to work with her.     I do not feel that this has been resolved to customer satisfaction.

On 1/29/16 Daphaine [redacted] dropped off an order for dry cleaning with a new employee. She clearly had two formal gowns that by mistake got put under dress category....

She received her 20% off discount and employee tagged in and put into dry cleaning bin.
The next morning clothes were dry cleaned and pressed and went for sorting on invoices for bagging and packing. At that time an employee (senior) noticed almost $30.00 difference even with giving customer her credit again of 20% off. She adjusted invoice accordingly. When customer came to pick up with this senior employee she explained the situation and the customer was yelling and demanding not to pay! My employee had tried to call me yet had to tell the customer to leave for she didn't know what to do with the money owed. She (employee) was very shaken. Then she came in the next night after being told to come back in the afternoon and had evening employee who made the mistake in tears! I waited on her in the morning giving her original price given to get her in and out of my shop for I felt taken advantage of at this point! She received 20% off everything and a simple mistake had been made. This is a small business and I just wanted her to go! She wanted to clearly argue like she did from the beginning. She got her items at less than half price! Why this? She wants to apologize to these sweet employees maybe they will back. Unbelievable!

This issue has been resolved however, I do not accept the response from this person due to the fact that it is mostly false. I was never asked to "leave" but her employee. Her employee asked if I could return the next day since she did not answer her phone. Her employee was very understanding that I was upset about not being informed about such a drastic price discrepancy and told me she would call me in the morning to let me know that it had been resolved. I did leave an alternative number to make sure she could contact me directly. I did not get a phone call the next day, I waited until the afternoon and called. The call was answered by voice mail, so I left a message to be contacted so when I returned I didn't have to rely on an employee who did not have any information that this had been resolved. I still did not get a reply so I called again a few hours later and the employee who answered was unaware of my situation and told me she would have someone call me back. I told the employee I would like to pick my clothes up that evening and would appreciate a call before then. I still did not get a call back. At 6pm that evening I called before going to the store and asked if it was resolved? The empolyee apologized and said she had made the error when it was entered into the system and quoted me the higher price. I explained that I do not accept that and asked if her manager would be in the next day. She said yes. I told her to please feel free to leave a note that I would be visiting in the morning to get the issue resolved. I then returned the morning of 2-5 and I was told the price is the price. My initial concern was the price, had I been informed (my phone number was on the ticket) that there had been a mistake with the ticketing I would have been more than willing to pay that amount. Due to the fact that there are no signs, postings or any available information in-store or on the website about the price structure I was unable to know that there had been a mistake made. I would also like to point out that I was only in the store 3 times total. Once to drop off my clothes, my initial attempt to pick them up and then the morning of 2-5 when I did go into the store since I had never been called back after repeat requests for a callback. My biggest issue with this transaction was the poor customer service in regards to a simple mistake, not the actual price.
I do not need any further assistance with this complaint at this time but I cannot formally accept this response.
