Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Forest ridge apartments could not give me the courtesy as a tenant to return my calls or honor their lease by providing me a safe and clean residenceTherefore I am forced to forfeit my deposit in order to leave this unkept and ill maintained propertySince I am responsible for the remainder of the term then I will pay August as I had planned and vacate by the end of AugustThey can keep my deposit for the month of SeptemberI do not feel that I should be forced to live in such conditions any longer and have stayed this long because of my lease and financial burdens in seeking a new residenceI reject there offer to fulfill the lease and will forfeit my deposit and vacate by end of AugustSince they do not return the calls of residents I have had to reach out to Revdex.com to speak on my behalfI want nothing more than to put this last year behind me and be done with the establishment [redacted]

Our ownership group purchased this property in August of 2017, so any issues this resident had are unrelated to our management team. The residents truck was parked for over weeks in the same spot due to a flat tire. Our team had tagged this vehicle on occasions and the parma police
department also tagged the vehicle for towing due the fact it is inoperable. Our policy states that all vehicles must be property registered and must be operable in order to be parked on property. Any violators to our policy are tagged and subject to towing. We are not obligated to personally contact each resident prior to towing. Therefore, we are well within our rights to tow any car in a non working condition once they have been tagged. As for the hot water complaint, the resident's entire building was experiencing hot water issues due to someone in their building vandalizing our hot water tanks. This was not an issue with their unit alone. The hot water has since been fixed and the resident has hot water.Upon hearing the complaint from the resident, I reached out to her in order to resolve the situation amicably. We met on 2/to discuss the entire situation and how we can satisfy both parties. Our conclusion was that we would split the towing fees. I have actually paid the whole fee to get the car released and the resident has committed to paying their half ($80) once they have the money. I agreed they could pay me back over a couple months in order to allow their seasonal business to get up and running for the spring. I reviewed the customer service policies with our staff to ensure they are adhering to providing our residents with the utmost level of professionalism at all times, even when the resident is confrontational and heightened with anger in these types of situations. In conclusion, explained to the resident their car is allowed on our property as long as it is in a legal and operable condition and have no issues with it being parked on the property. I believe the vehicle will be picked up today from the towing company, per my conversation with the resident.I believe this complaint is resolved and our resident is satisfied with the outcome at hand

This resident's lease agreement (attached) is valid until the last day of SeptemberThe resident can submit a notice to vacate at any time, which it looks like they have on 7/7/for 9/30/2017; however, if they do not fulfil their current lease agreement which goes until the last day of
September, the will forfeit the security depositThe resident owes August & September rent and the lease agreement will be fulfilled

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The fact that they payed for the truck removal is proof enough to me that they knew they were in the wrong and accutlly tried to fix what happened. I appreciate that. As you can see from their attachment there was no notice on the truck about removal. It is true that everyone in my building had no hot water, I don't understand why a tenant would want to mess up their own hot water, I mean we pay for it. Its not free. But I digress we do have hot water now.  I understand that this company is concerned with their image and I believe they deserve a fresh start (without the prior owners mistakes on their back).

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Forest ridge apartments could not give me the courtesy as a tenant to return my calls or honor their lease by providing me a safe and clean residence. Therefore I am forced to forfeit my deposit in order to leave this unkept and ill maintained property. Since I am responsible for the remainder of the term then I will pay August as I had planned and vacate by the end of August. They can keep my deposit for the month of September. I do not feel that I should be forced to live in such conditions any longer and have stayed this long because of my lease and financial burdens in seeking a new residence. I reject there offer to fulfill the lease and will forfeit my deposit and vacate by end of August. Since they do not return the calls of residents I have had to reach out to Revdex.com to speak on my behalf. I want nothing more than to put this last year behind me and be done with the establishment.   [redacted]
