When Mr [redacted] came in the office he asked for a grill to go on a "COVERED" porchI explained to him that on a covered porch he would need a Hood to go over the grill, to capture the fumesWe spoke about several grills and he chose the [redacted] Angus Grill and HoodMr [redacted] didn't tell us it was an "INCLOSED" addition to his houseMr [redacted] had his builder( [redacted] come to our office and pic up a copy of the grills specifications so when he had the island the grill was installed in built he would know everything about this grillThey Grill sat inside our office for weeks until they (builder) was ready for itThe grill was delivered and installed before the construction was finished at the ***s residenceNot until after the ***'s used the grill several times did they call and say something about it not being a grill for indoor useI explained the them they didn't ask for a grill for indoor use they bought a grill for a covered porchI apologized to them but advised them that because they got what they ordered and used it, I could not refund their money

*** *** Even if Mr*** was not as clear as perhaps he should have been about how he referred to the grill, Mr*** personally delivered the grill when there were doors and windows installed on the construction and it was open on the other side to the living roomHe was told by the contractor, ***, where the grill would go If Mr*** were an ethical businessman and as knowledgeable about his product as he should have been, he would have questioned the location (within wooden cabinets), he would have realized he should also have sold us a pan for the grill to go in (regardless of whether it was inside or out, this is standard construction for high heat grills), He could have very easily sourced an indoor unit and probably made more money, had he been conscientious in his business practices Since the grill has only been used times, he can easily sell as "used" and recoup the majority of the money that he refunds us.The thing that saddens me most is that Mr*** has no compunction about taking advantage of an year old man and no responsibility to provide ethical customer service.*** ***
