Review: A gift certificate in the amount of $50 purchased in 2008 was not honored.

I received a gift certificate in 2008. I went to redeem it on October 14, 2013. The manager would not honor it because she said they changed owners. I explained gift certificates do not expire in California. She said had I redeemed it in 2009 it would not be a problem. The stamp to the store and their current business card was stapled to the gift certificate. Desired Settlement: I want my $39 back that I had to pay for the services I received on 10/14/13. Th gift certificate is in the amount of $50.

This place first off was supppppper slow the time I walked in.. I was asking for prices they lied on that looked over the sign said 35 for gel she priced me at 42$ then I asked her something didn't respond. Anh the owner told me that I know nothing about nails and that I should just leave. She put the nail tip on half way on my nail and was just working super sloppy. Didn't make me feel welcomed like all other places I go to. Then I told her why is it in the middle I always get it done on the tip she told me I'm very weird and I know nothing About nails once more. I told her just remove it you have very low customer service skills she gets loud with me and acts in a way like a bizarre women with her husband or whoever sitting in the back trying to tell me to just leave when I didn't even get them any attitude I took out 5$ for her work since I didn't want to be rude she threw it back at my daughter. ! And literally kicked me out because I told her that I just don't want it this way. Every other nail salon I walked into for the first time I felt comfortable the vibe from her and her husband was the worst customer service experience I have ever had ! And to yell and cal me weird wow makes her look super Well for the business. As walking out she's curses at me. Great place anh! You'll for sure be getting customers this way! Wish I could give them 0 stars even one star is a lot!
