Review: I signed up with this dating service as did my roommate. We have paid them apx. $1200 and although we keep getting promises of connecting with men of our age brackets, nothing had materialized.I went by the office today to find it closed up and no one is returning phone calls.We were told the [redacted] next door had an agreement with them to give us complementary makeovers.I visited the [redacted] today and was told they have never had any such agreement. [redacted] with Forever soul mates had previously told me they were very booked and it would take a month to get an appointment. That never happened.[redacted] was the person I originally spoke with and she gave me a "deal" to pay $1000 if I signed up that day. She also agreed to reduce my friend's amount to $1000 - it was an original offer of $1500 but had to be signed that day or offer was off the table. I am searching for other ppl that have complaints as I know there have been other ppl in the [redacted] asking questions.[redacted] ###-###-####Desired Settlement: Refund of all money paid todate.

First off we must state that here at Forever Soul Mates we are a Matchmaking company not a dating service like [redacted] has stated. There are huge differences in those two types of buisnesses . When [redacted] Signed up to become a member she was explained that we are a matchmaking company meaning we dont match you with a random gentleman every friday night , but that we are looking for your life partner. [redacted] has been matched with two great gentleman since becoming a member. She had great things to say about the first match even though they both decided to keep dating other clients through us because of a lack of chemistry that we cant build. [redacted] recieved a copy of her Addendum that states she may not get a match every month that it depends on who is available with her preferences. [redacted] is currently on a match right now with a wonderful gentleman. We are not quite sure why we are getting this complaint . [redacted] is being matched exactly to what her contract stated. In section 5 of the contract it states that Forever Soul Mates has 2 years to complete the process of finding a suitable match for [redacted] , If after that and only after that we dont find the right match we have two different options and both are benificial to the client. [redacted] was read all of this before she ever signed the contract as well as being shown the addendum stating she completly understood the contract in full. Our office has moved but that has not effected the matching of any of our clients , [redacted] as well , like stated before has been matched since the office was moved. The [redacted] issue is a matter we will resolve with [redacted] ourselves , She was aware that we do work with the [redacted] and that as a part of her program we would decide what one thing she wanted done and we would make the appointment for her. We have never stated that they did anything for free and have said many times that we would have to make the apointment because yes they are extremly booked out. That is a personal arrangment we have between them , im sure you can imagine having your [redacted] bombarded with two ladies saying they want free make-overs. [redacted] had a conversation with [redacted] about making an appointment for her but she never stated what she wanted or when . We prefer that [redacted] but can go to any one we or the client prefer. As far as the [redacted] recieving any of her membership fee back we dont see fit to do so at this time , We feel as though we are fullfilling every part of [redacted]'s contract . We do however understand that there needs to be more communication with this client , To make sure there are no more complaints filed like this one. As always we want to thank this client for being a member and we hope her experience with us will be better in the future. Thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

There are continuing issues with this business. For one thing, they have closed their office formerly on 16th next to [redacted] and although they advised a client that they were moving to a location on Washington Ave., I have passed by the address given and there is no sign of their office. I did a web search & found a Seattle Address for owner. ([redacted] alias [redacted] (not her legal name) did call me the day after she received my Revdex.com complaint, offering a "match", but to date, have not received a call or any further information on him. Yes, I do know the difference between a dating service and "match" service. Which ever one they are trying to do, it's very disappointing.

My friend that signed up on the same day-you had to take the offer that day or their "SPECIAL" would no longer be available, has yet to get a "match", although she did get the name of one guy who was "too busy" to go meet with her. We signed up July, 2013.The second girl in the office has quit. When approached and questioned about the real identity of the "[redacted]" who comes up as a [redacted] on a website under the full name complete with a photo, she refused to give any detail and seemed stressed over questioning.When stating I did not want the full "SPECIAL" for $1500, the initial interviewer, [redacted], stated she had to call owner to ok my payment plan. I eventually agreed to $1,000. Making payments of $200 a month with no interest. Since the actual owner is this [redacted]. ([redacted]), I realize now it was just a well planned scheme. You have all seen the routine, One day only special, owner will let you be the exception to the rule - pay a set fee monthly, promises of makeover at no charge, match-ups with successful business men and exciting dates.Let me tell you about the "Match". I called and said it would be nice to have someone to go to the [redacted] with,and was told she had several she wanted to match up with me, and I was given a name & phone # of a gentleman that [redacted] had talked about at first meeting saying how handsome he was and successful. Well, he was a [redacted], 15 years younger than me, didn't like the rock & roll music that was on stage, didn't want to go into Beer tent (!) IT'S A HOP FESTIVAL!! He was a vegan. All he cared to talk about was Vegan, and Church and spiritual music. Every time I veered off the subject, he repeated his religious ideas. The person [redacted] "matched" me with the day after my complaint was my age, but 5'3' and 130 lbs. I had requested that no one under 5'10 and at least a waist size the same or larger than mine!

To touch on a couple items [redacted] listed in the response letter to Revdex.com.(1) I never said the 1st guy was Great! I simply told her he was nothing close to what I put on my forms.(2) [redacted] states several times that these "Wonderful Gentleman" are being matched with me, but truth is, she has not even come close to finding a "Match" to my requests.Although when I went into office to pay, she had a large stack of files, and said that was just one days signups, and she had six set aside for me that matched my requests. I am still waiting for even one call from those! It's been 3 months.(3)As for BOMBARDING the [redacted] that is next door to the previous address, I have only set foot into the [redacted] once, to ask if they were at all affiliated with Forever Soul Mates and was told in no uncertain terms that they DID NOT have any agreement or wish to, as they only know the business showed up one day in the building next to theirs and than they were gone. The person I spoke with said the only contact is the former assistant to [redacted] has a cousin that works there.It is my understanding that only one other lady went into the [redacted] to ask about their dealings with Forever Soul Mates. So, again, BOMBARDING???!!! As for my friend, she has never been inside the [redacted]. NEITHER OF US ASKED FOR FREE MAKEOVERS!!!

IN CONCLUSION, Don't fall for the pushy sales pitch. Check them out and ask for names and phone #'s of current clients. I researched clients and have spoken with several and each one said they would NEVER recommend Forever Soul Mates to anyone! Also, each one has paid a different fee, which covered a wide range. Guess they settle for whatever they can get!I have asked other clients to take time to forward their complaints regarding this business, and hope anyone reading this will research the facts before signing any contract with FSM!
