I will never purchased or reccomend wheels from this company! I wanted to change the wheel size that I ordered a week after placing the order due to a safety issue and Ace didn't want to do anything about itThey never answer calls, and are very unprofessional

Mr [redacted] , This is a response to a claim from [redacted] *** Mr [redacted] purchased the wheels from a re seller Howey Industries, though the wheels were manufactured by our company Forgestar We found out Mr [redacted] was having a finish issues with his wheels We fully honored our finish warranty per our terms on our website [redacted] The customer ships back the wheels and we refinish the wheels at no charge When the customer shipped back the wheels UPS damaged out of wheels At this point UPS has inspected the wheels and approve the damage claim to [redacted] *** He will be getting a refund of his shipping cost and the shipping insurance that he supplied with UPS At this point we consider this complaint resolved Customer has been fully refunded by UPS

Our package has been approved for shipping by UPS.  We have never had a insurance claim denied by UPS for insufficient packaging.
 
The matter is now between UPS and the customer.

Review: I sent my wheels back and they were supposed to be delivered to them on 3/14/2014. They were delayed due to weather conditions and delivered on 3/17/2014. I kept sending emails asking if they rececived the wheels and never heard a response until 3/27/2014 that the wheels were still waiting for the painter to come pick them up. Later on that afternoon I received another email saying that the wheel color I had before may not be the same color as before because "We have been going back and forth with the powdercoater because the wheels havent been consistent with what we originally did with them. Some of the batches turned out textured and then some were smooth and the powdercoater was saying that its the powder that comes from the manufacturer and nothing they were doing with procedures." I was open to other options because I wanted the wheels to last more than 300 miles this time and was glad they were aware that they had a quality issue.Didn't hear anything else until April 8th that they were going to be able to do the same color and that it would be more durable this time, so I was extremely happy. Now 4/9/2014 I received a email from them stating that I curbed 1 of the wheels and there is a dent on the wheel which they do not repair so the dent will remain on the wheel when they refinish it. They also said you tried to touch it up. This threw me for a loop as it has been weeks since they received my wheels and not one word has been said about this and I knew that the wheels did not have any of the damage they claimed. So I asked for proof of the damage, especially the dent and the boxes so I could access if it was due to UPS or Forgestar. He said the bend was on the lip of one wheel. The next message I got come back saying 3 wheels had dents and damage and that they would re-powdercoat them but would not fix any of the damage. I provided pictures of the damage of the wheels before I sent them and they had none of this damage Forgestar was claiming weeks after they have had them.Desired Settlement: I would really like to return the wheels for a full refund. After waiting 13 weeks originally and then having them less than 300 miles for a known quality issue and then having them dented by the same company ruined any liking I had for them and their wheels. So I will either return them for a full refund or they can make me a new set and I return the old set.
