[redacted]   Hello [redacted],   I received your customer complaint from...

the Revdex.com. I would like to respond to every point that you made in it, I am wondering if we were in the same conversation. I also am attaching an email that you sent to me on 5/17/15. You complained that nobody spoke with you on location and that you and your husband did not know what property line meant. In the email attached you clearly state that you want the fence to go to the property line, you even have the dimensions off of the house to the line. I left your house and saw 2 fences that my competition has done, both houses have small cuts in the corner, one of the fences has 2 small cuts combined on the corner in plain view of the HOA Presidents home. You complained that the fence post has movement, we have not had any rain to compact the soil around the post since we installed the job, that is the benefit that your neighbors have had but as you stated many times that you are not an expert in the field. Pull the post out if you can, you will see 80Lbs of concrete around the base. I will address this Revdex.com complaint first:   “I am a military member of 19 years, retiring next year unfortuately with a diability of the foot. I am taking care of my diabled veteran mother whom is visual impaired. I hired [redacted] to put in a fense of 20 x 40 ft in my back yard for my 4 dogs. Two of those dogs being 4 lbs. I say that to say I needed the fence to have pretty much little to no space on the side where it connects to the house. When the fense was complete there was and area where the fense pulled out of the post(which was corrected within 10 seconds), the fense wobbled extremely bad when you leaded against it(it is in fresh soil, after sustained rain it will compact. There is a metal insert along the bottom rail, 80Lbs of mixed concrete around each post), it leaned and there was an opening where my two small dogs walked right out of the fense(we advised that we would put an additional post in at no charge). There was also a random pole place about 6 inches from the corner post (it was installed 1.5ft away)that was not talked over to me before being placed(we spoke with your husband who advised us to put the fence on the property line, we also received an email from [redacted] asking that the fence be placed on the line at 24ft, this created an uneven measurement causing a small piece). All of this poor quality for the low cost (the point [redacted] clearly kept pointing out to me) of $3000( I pointed out several times that $3k was a lot of money but that you had a budget I had to stay within) I am not sure what kind of money he has (derogatory personnel attack, but what I have I deserve due to the 70+ hours I put in every week for the last 12 years.)but that cleaned out my bank account. I am a mother of 4 and in the military and definately not rich either but I am not the owner of a business like [redacted] is either( Another personnel attack, am I supposed to apologize that I too was in the military but got out with nothing and took a chance on starting my own company and also a father of 3???) . Anyways, when I tried to get resolution to my satisfaction it always ended in more money coming out of my pocket (We offered to fix the gap with a post and also split the difference on the short panel, thus creating  two 5ft panels, this would be free of charge. I did not bring up charging more until Mrs. [redacted] asked for a gate where the short piece was and then asked to move the 40ft in 1.5ft to get rid of the small piece. Had she not told us to install on the line via email and her husband also state the same on the day of install then we would do that free of charge. The fence was installed where we were told to install it).  When I explainined to him I didnt have more money and this is not what we agreed on he just said then we will just have to come and pull out the fense(When Mrs. [redacted] made the comment that she should have signed with my competitor, who installed a fence across the street with 2 cut pieces, and also denied my professional recommendations on alleviating the problem I felt that this was the only resort. I have 15 employees and I cannot provide free services) So now my mom who cannot see and myself who is on bedrest has to figure out how to deal with an HOA and a mess of a yard and 4 dogs with no fense. (Mrs [redacted] stated that the small section of fence was illegal to the HOA, although directly across the street there are two fences with cut pieces.)Horrible customer service, I will make sure I dont let any of my troops or friends go to this company.( I drove to Smyrna, 30 minutes north at 5:30 pm on the same day that Mrs. [redacted] called about her issues to try and talk with her. Her call and email came in at roughly 3:30 pm. I responded within 2 hours same day, I would say that the customer service was there. I do feel bad that Mrs. [redacted] is going through so much in her personal life and possibly that is leading to stressful feelings. Her husband was willing to work with what we had on the small section, she was not).” [redacted]…..I am very sorry that it has come to this. I guess there is a first for everything. I came home tonight and thought that possibly we should move the fence in and I would just eat the loss. Although we installed the fence exactly where we were told. Then I read this complaint, which is filled with many inaccuracies on the way tonight went down and also uncalled for personal attacks. I have decided that if we do take the fence down we can refund you the cost of the deposit minus labor involved in the install of the fence where you wanted it. We are willing to do the 2 adjustments that we talked about but no more. I know you have a lot of stress going on with your condition and I am sorry for that.  If this is not acceptable then we will have to resolve the unpaid balance in court and let the judge decide. Thank you.
