Hello ***,We received notification from the Revdex.com of your review and wanted to take the time to respond to youIn regards to the background oheck none of our staff members told you that your two roommates background checks would be coming back for sure before the date that On-Site gave us, My staff
explained to you all that On-Site was telling us it would come back on that set date and that it may come back sooner, We can only hope they come back sooner only because they give us an expected retum date, We use a 3rd party agency who screen all of our applicants for our companyWe have no control over how fast these background checks, We are at at the mercy of the courthouses in each jurisdiction*** told you all that as soon as we get an email notification back from On-Site that the background check came back cleared you all would be notified by email as well at the same exact time.In the whole year and a half have worked here have we ever had a background oheck take this longWe sincerely apologize for the delay even though we had nothing to do with itIt was frustrating for us as wellWhen *** asked me to remove her and the other roommate and just keep you on for the time beingShe was asking me to violate the lease agreement and fair housing laws knowingly, I am sorry but I couldn't just do thatShe seemed aggravated at that like wasn't trying to help but she was asking me to break the law and company policy and cannot do that.In regards to showing your apartment, Yes we took the $holding deposit, Yes we were showing other prospects because it was the only bedroom we had to showWe do not have a bedroom model like we do the bedroomIt is in our right to do so, We never not once took another holding deposit for that apartmentWe were just showing it to prospective tenants so they may see a layout similar to a different apartment they were interested inWhen you put down the $holding deposit that does not give you full rights to the apartment, that is to just hold the apartment off the market so we may not rent it to anyone else, We still have rights to the apartment and can show it to prospective residentsleontractors/owners so on and so forth,On Several occasions where my staff had contacted On-Site to check on the status of the background check, they never once mentioned that the courthouse in Imperial County was on strike to any of usWhen *** called they may have mentioned it to her but never to us, So when she told me that, that was the first of us ever hearing that story.Your desired settlement that you wrote out doesn't sound like something you are requestingIt sounds more like a statement or complaint again, Again our entire staff apologies for the delay in the background checks from our 3rd party companyIn conclusion do not feel your review is fair, but you have every right to write one, All of the terms mentioned above we talked in the office and explained to you and ***However see maybe you did not understand where we are coming from or how the process worksI hope I explained it all better to you.We wish you at the best of luck
