As of September16,2016 none of the three permits pulled in March 2016 have been closed.The owner authorized an inspection after August 12,2016 without my knowledge or consent. March 15 and 21 2016 no insulation was installed per the manufacture warranty. July 15,2016 the owner stated he did not use foam or batting.By not installing per the manufactures installation he voided the warranty.The purpose of the $7.00 proposal was to remove the windows and have a different company install windows. The owner would get in return his windows. Hence I do not have a lifetime warranty with [redacted]d.The owner inflated the cost of my project by making promises he did not deliver and voiding my warranty.The owner stopped responding to me except invoices April ,May an June. July 15,2016 the owner made promises he did not keep. The owner did not counter offer the $7.00 proposal. In my opinion,Forrest Enterprises , Ygrene and Millgard all played a part in ripping me off I signed the invoice to avoid a mechanic's lien on my property.. I am not satisfied with the sub par work ,had it not been for video and photo I would have never known of the missing insulation. I suspected on March 15,2016 after the installer left they had been in my private space, On March 21,2016 the installer was captured rambling through my underwear drawer it was not known until March 31,2016, I notified owner of my finding.On March 15,2016 the dresser was in the guest bathroom with some valuable items in the drawer. Those items were moved before March 21,2016. On March 21,2016 the installer asked to use the bathroom and went straight to the dresser only to find the items were moved. April 12,2016 and August 18,2016 the owner ignored two letters from my attorney. I chose an authorized dealer to install the windows per the manufacture instructions, I do not believe the owner does not use insulation in other high end projects. In my opinion for the sub par work was to hurry up and move on to another job. It would take years maybe before the windows showed leaks. I filed my complaint with the Revdex.com because the owner is using his ratings and accolades to inflate prices and deceive customers. I contacted the Chamber of Commerce in Orangevale and was informed Forrest Enterprises won a float award and it was not for business of the year. As of today I have no signed permit ,defected windows, no warranty and my personal space violated by the installers. Forrest Windows installed windows & a sliding door at Bettie Weatherspoon house at agreed contract price and in a professional manner.. Installed in agreed time. Service needed on flawed glass and missing security bolt on door will be handled by service department of [redacted]. Full Factory Warranty does apply. Why, because Forrest Windows has increased their bottom line.Forrest bilked me from day one with the quote then after he received the contract from [redacted] . He then sent over more padding a five year warranty. This was so I did not take any other bids from window installers. Making it known to me that Forrest could place a mechanic's lien on my property and I could file with the contractors board. Later my associate spoke with me about signing off to avoid the mechanic's lien. After reading about California's mechanics lien I chose to signed under duress for [redacted] loan oppose to a mechanic's lien. I have defective, high performance windows, with no warranty or insulation and no value. What a lucrative business scheme sell a life time warranty to consumers to support the inflated quote. Pad it with another five year warranty to get the consumer to sign the [redacted] pre loan approval. Secure notice to proceed. Wait the three day contract to expire. Install windows in record time with no insulation . Get the consumer to sign off loan . If complaints a rise, string the consumer intimidate with mechanic's lien. Sooner or later the windows will leak.I am following procedure in taking this matter through the tedious chain of authority. I was sold over priced ,defective windows that were not installed per manufacture by an authorized [redacted] deal with over 20 years experience . The installers threw my windows in a hurry. Seven windows in three hours ,I was amazed at the installers and asked if this was a world record. By not following the manufacture's instructions the installers finished loading ,removing ,installing, trimming and clean up in three hours for seven windows. It was a rush sub par job. The inflated quote also help deplete my [redacted] funds for more home improvement projects. Anyone who wants to know how much a particular [redacted] loan ...they need only to type in the address and it gives anyone the possible loan amount, This is how and why contractors inflate their price. Because the consumers are locked in to using the approved listed contractors. [redacted] speed the production process creating defective windows. I was denied a lifetime warranty because of my zip code and [redacted] fund. This trio has found a niche market of unsuspecting consumers thinking or assuming they are paying for a life time warranty from a top notch dealer and manufacture.When in reality the consumer will pay three times the cost for sub par work by an authorized dealer and receive damaged and or defective windows with no warranty . The only reminder the consumer have are the 40 payments to pay for brand new replacement windows.They are mad because I am letting the public know what to expect. [redacted]
