owner, has location in Naples and at *** Way Deerfield Beach, Florida, (XXX) XXX XXXX. Collected $800 and didn't do the work
Just prior to South Florida hurricane he solicited and knocked on my door to put up and post hurricane take down shutters. I paid him $800 and have a receipt. He never returned. Crook!
I want him to return my $800. He is a crook!
Hi the job request from homeowners is for Shetter installation and removal I charge only $ 400 dollars for installation and for removal I esk 200.00 dollrs he call me after two weeks for removal particial only the low Shetter I make and live the top . for the parcial working he pay me $ 100.00 only . my company closet the atividade by may /2017 and disovel by florida state 2 years a go. I am out of the business for amost 2 years no working in construction no more thanks .
I have reviewed the response Revdex.com received from the subject company. It's unacceptable
Here's what I can tell you.
I presume he is mixing me up with another customer. Alternatively, he is lying.
I provided Revdex.com a copy of the $800 receipt given to me by the business for the cash payment to Mr. in advance of the shutter up and shutter down work he was hired to do. Presumably, you've looked at said receipt.
His response says his charge is "$400 to put shutters up" and "$200 to take them down". Obviously that can't be true when he acknowledges that I paid him $800 cash as per the receipt he issued me that I evidenced to you. He's also stating that he closed his business in 2017 (and that since that date he's been doing only construction work), however, clearly that's not true as the Hurricane was in 2019.
In summary, his response reads to me that he has no intention of refunding the $800 I paid him for work which was never done. I thank Revdex.com for trying to resolve the matter but apparently Mr. is a crooked dead beat who had decided to keep my $800 and to lie about what happened.
Feel free to update the Revdex.com site for my response above and consider the matter closed with an unsuccessful result. If it were up to me I'd rate this business as an "F".
Should I hear from Mr. in the future (I doubt it but just in case) I will let you know.
