Dear Revdex.com,
My name is Jose *. M[redacted], and this letter is in regards to the complaint filed against me, reference number [redacted],I am the manager of the Shell gas station located at [redacted], Fort Washington MD. I have been the manager of this business since...

1990. In addition, I have been an auto mechanic for 25 years (most of those at this location). The customer, [redacted], brought his car to my gas station to replace three tires. His car is a 2007 [redacted] had been driving his car with low air pressure in his tires for some time, which was why he wanted them replaced. When I began to replace the tires, it turns out that, due to the owner's overuse of the vehicle with tires with low air pressure, the sensor that monitors that air pressure on the rear left wheel was damaged. When I began to change that tire, I found a broken sensor. This sensor cannot be seen without removing the tire—therefore, [redacted] would not have known that he had been driving with a broken sensor for some time.I offered to fix the sensor by gluing it back into place. However, [redacted] was insistent that I replace the Sensor. Thus, I offered to replace the sensor for half of the normal price to satisfy my customer. [redacted] declined the offer though, because he believes that I broke the sensor during the tire replacement, and that therefore he is entitled to have a new sensor for free.
In my experience, cars that have been driven with low air pressure for the amount of time that [redacted] has been driving his car, damages the sensors in the tires. As I have previously stated, I found the sensor already broken when I began to replace the tire—which [redacted] could not have known, without the replacement of the tire. In short, I did not break the sensor—his driving was the cause of the broken sensor.
Because [redacted] insists on a new sensor, my offer to him still stands, to replace it for half of the normal cost of replacement. However, I will not replace it for free, because he is not entitled to it, because when I began to replace the tires, I found the sensor already broken.
If there is anything else, please contact me anytime at ###-###-####, or email me at[redacted].net.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Jose M.
