RE: *** *** ID: ***Ms***,Please accept this letter in response to your letter dated October 8, concerning the above referenced complaint filed by *** ***The basis of Mr***’s complaint is that Northwest’s policy requiring a day waiting period prior to enrolling
in mobile deposit is not well known or clear to the customer.Mr*** stated that he opened his account on August 18, and was informed that mobile deposit would not be available on his account until days had passed from the day on which he opened his accountAfter the days had passed, Mr*** did not have mobile deposit available on his accountMr*** stated that at this point he reached out to our Customer Service Department who informed him that the day wailing period is based upon the date on which a customer enrolls in Online Banking.The employee whom opened Mr***’s account explained to him the Online Banking/Mobile Banking enrollment process as well as the fact that the waiting period begins when Online Banking enrollment is completePer the branch manager, this specific employee is thorough when opening new accounts and thoroughly explains each document and the specifics that affect customers.Northwest has established the day waiting period as a security feature to prevent account abuse or fraudIf you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at ###-###-#### or toll free at ###-###-####.Thank you,Katie ** L*** Assistant Vice President Resolution Manager

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Re: Complaint Number *** Dear Ms***:I am writing with regard to the complaint that I filed with the Revdex.com against Northwest Savings BankIn the letter they submitted to you on November 3, they noted that they contacted me on November This is correct; I spoke with Pam B*** regarding my complaintShe notified me that they are reviewing their accounts to determine the cause of their error, and that they would be in touch once they could provide more information.Their letter states that "As of the date of this letter, Mr[sic] ***'s concerns have been addressed." This is entirely inaccurateI have received no information on how a line of credit was opened in my name, and all of my requests regarding a resolution to this matter have gone unaddressedIf anything, I am more upset with the inaccuracy of their claim that they have solved the problemThe fact that they have been unable to report how an account was opened in my name, that they have been unable to assure me that the account has been deleted, that they have been unable to assure me that my credit rating has in no way been affected by this account, and that they have given me no assurances that my personal information will not be disseminated is completely unacceptableThey have resolved nothing, and my concerns are magnified by their ineptitude.I am very appreciative of your assistance in this matter, and look forward to a quick resolution to this mismanagement of my information by Northwest Savings Bank.Sincerely,*** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** ###-###-####

While I thank Northwest Bank for the response, it's a little bit too lateThe bank's response was unacceptable and displays poor customer service putting all the blame on me and the statements about abuse and fraud were rather accusatoryI'm not sure why they can't accept the fact that the employee that opened my account may have made a mistake in what she told meInstead, they turn the blame to me by saying she was thoroughMy original complaint references blank checks that I was told I would be receiving by mailTo date, I have not received them nor has the bank responded to that issue.
