would re*eive payment (business as usual).  Our tire servi*e manager, who has been with us for eleven years, installed our best used BF Goodri*h LT285/70R17 All Terrain tire onto the spare wheel.  It is important to note that this was a typi*al steel spare wheel, *ommonly stored beneath the bed of pi*kup tru*ks.  When the *ustomer returned on Monday, he insisted that our business (or spe*ifi*ally, an unidentified employee) stole his mag style wheel and repla*ed it with a *ommon steel spare wheel.  The *ustomer then de*lined to pay for or a**ept his wheel and tire assembly.Let me assure you that our business does not engage in theft, and that our online reviews and lo*al awards refle*t this fa*t.  There are also things that do not make sense, su*h as why someone would pur*hase a mag wheel as a spare when it would be sub*e*ted to road debris and potential damage beneath a pi*kup tru*k bed, how we would *ome up with a spare wheel with a**umulated gravel and road grime *onsistent with being stored as a spare, or what reason we would have to “steal” only one wheel designed for a vehi*le over a de*ade in age.Regardless of all these things, our primary *on*ern is that this *ustomer is now driving his vehi*le without a spare tire.  As a resolution, we are happy to provide the *ustomer with the used tire mounted on the wheel he left with us at no *harge.
