We appreciate our tenants cander regarding the issue in his complaintWe are a small Real Estate Brokerage with a small staffIt is very important to us that we have someone from our staff here during business hours, however we do run in to situations when it is extremely difficult or even
impossible to avoid leaving our office unmanned temporarilyWe have provided a drop box in our door so that anyone who comes to our office while we are away, can still safely leave rent payments or any documentsIt is our policy to return all phone calls from tenants within hours (I believe in this case I personally returned his call by 1:pm the next dayWe also have an emergency number on our voice messaging system so that tenants can reach us 24/if the reason for their call cannot wait hoursWe are always looking for ways to improve our business and in particular our service to each of our tenantsWe will definately review this complaint as a company, and implement procedures to better serve this tenant as well as all other tenants

We have been in constant communication with [redacted] since the day she asked us about her security deposit refund. Our response to her during our last communication with her was that she is responsible for the rent payments until the apartment is re-rented for the duration of her lease and that we...

would let her know as soon as it is re-rented. We also explained that she can help us with re-renting her apt but to date I am not aware of any efforts on her part. Our office hours are Monday thru Thursday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. I do not believe she has come to our office during those hours to discuss issues she may have in regards to the security deposit refund. If coming to our office is not possible we will definitely return her phone call or she can email us and we will respond to her email.

According to the tenant who made the complaint they have retracted their complaint. Please confirm that it is not necessary for us to respond. thank you
