Cheater.......cheater......cheater

Be very careful with this company. When I was moving out, I called them to return the keys. But, they said they have automatically renewed my contract for one more year even without sending me any notifications. However, they told me, "Okay, we are going to break your contract with no fee".

So, I moved out and went to another city.

But, I just received a mail from the and they charged me for 4 month lease breaking fee around $3,360. I called them and asked to explain, but, they accuse me for LIE and said they have not received any phone call from me. The hang up the phone on me and said "You have to pay $3,360." I have the proof showing I called them. They are cheater and rude ... I hope they go bankrupt

THEY RENEWED MY CONTRACT WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION, AND THEN CHARGED ME FOR 4 MOUNT LEASE BREAKING.

They know I am an international person from my accent and now want to cheat me.

Do not sign lease with them, they are cheater and even their apartments are not in good condition.

Claims that heat is included, but it is only on some of the time. My apartment was down to 54 degrees one night. Had to run 4 space heaters and leave the oven on most of the time. floors are very creaky and walls are thin. Homeless people were found sleeping in the basement of the building.

Review: I have been renting from Forward Management for almost a year, and two days ago, 5/14/14, workers from the Brentwood Borough came by posting legal notices on all the doors of the Brentshire Gardens buildings saying "This structure, known as [redacted] A/B/C etc..., Parcel ID No[redacted], has been declared as an ILLEGAL RENTAL UNIT due to the failure of the property owner to possess a valid Rental License. It is unlawful for the property owner to allow this building to be occupied as a rental unit, as outlined in Chapter 163 of the Brentwood Borough Code after 6-16-14, unless a Rental License is obtained from the Borough of Brentwood." Later on the same day they were hung on the front doors, ALL the notices were gone. I called a Brentwood Borough worker, and earlier today, 5/16/14, either workers came back and posted the notices again, or Forward Management workers came by and hung them back up. There are fire extinguishers that expired in 2012 in my building, and likely others as well. Some of them don't have cases, and the ones in cases don't have glass breakers attached. The drain in the basement of building B sometimes overflows, pushing sewage onto the floor.Desired Settlement: I rented from Forward Management while they were not in possession of a valid rental license, so I would like all back rent and charges paid back to me in full, as well as assistance with finding another apartment.
