It has been over months and we are still awaiting reimbursement for belongings damaged during household move The moving company damaged all of our furniture -- every chair, dresser, table, etc-- had scrapes, gouges, holes and some items are simply ruined In addition, a number of items were broken during the move because fragile boxes were put at the bottom of the trailer under much heavier boxes Family heirlooms were also broken and, of course, are irreplaceable The moving company did not use any padding or moving blankets on items per their agreement, which resulted in items being damaged in-transit Beyond the damage, we were billed for services that were not rendered After more than months of trying to resolve this matter, we are still awaiting damage for some portion of the damages We have been passed around to our fourth contact at the company and during that time our file was "lost" for five weeks

They moved to N.Cdue to health problems and their ageThey are on a fixed income Forward Relocating delivered their contents As we began to unpack boxes ? there was damage in almost every box, broken furniture and a lot of missing expensive items
We filled out all the required claim formsThe total amount of insurance coverage was $10, *** *** from Forward Relocating wants them to settle for $
Pain & Suffering cannot even begin to be made up, for everything that they have and are going through with ALL the Valuable items and memories that were ruined and/or lost
Please help us to get some kind of REASONABLE RESOLUTION for this broken hearted elderly couple so they may be somewhat content and lessen their heartache for the years they have left on this earth
