CONSUMERS BEWARE This company FORWARD VAN LINES is the worse company ever if I can give a negative stars I would but it doesn't allow me so I can only give a starSTAY AWAY, [redacted] the owner or whatever he is LIES, and hides behind his desk, he says he will help you but then he is never there when you call himFORWARD VAN LINES RIPPED ME OFF , had me sign bunch of paperwork with no price, and when I asked why isn't there any price on the forms they told me it will be filled out later with the estimate priceOnce all my stuff was on the truck my price went from $to $for the same items, they added a bunch of nonsense fee's that weren't even on their contract, when I spoke with [redacted] he told me he will give me a discount, when I asked them to unload the truck they wanted to charge me $to unload and put everything back in the house, I had no chose but to move with them, even though guy said he will help me with the move and provide me a discount, HE LIED HE NEVER DID, I had to pay out $ CONSUMERS BEWARE, THIS COMPANIES LIES AND TRICKS THEIR CUSTOMERSI AM LAUNCHING A CAMPAIGN SO THIS DOESN'T''T HAPPEN TO ANY OTHER CUSTOMERSUnfortunately if I post a review on Yelp this review will be removed because they pay for their reviews on yelp

Forward Van Lines is by far the BEST moving company I have EVER worked with from initial contact start to finish! My initial Moving Consultant, Gaby, was EXCEPTIONALso very thorough in discussing and documenting my impending move She was very responsive to phone calls and emails to make sure everything was set up correctly They got there right on time 8:30am sharp! On the big day our moving foreman, Carlos, was AWESOME! He had his team of more guysand was very organized in lining everyone out of where they need to be and what they needed to be doing They all took GREAT care with all of our furniture, boxes, and belongings I was SO impressed with how they meticulously wrapped and protected everything, to their whole system of loading the truck Even though the move took a little longer than we planned moving from a house to a condominium building which is difficult, Carlos and his team were all so positive and professional throughout the VERY long day! They cleaned up all the plastic, tape & any trash too!! I would HIGHLY recommend to my family, friendsanyone!!!

Forward Van Lines was scheduled to move me on a one day move They were to arrive by 8:am on June 30thThey were expected to load everything by noon and head to the west coast of Florida and arrive by 5:PMUnfortunately, the truck showed up hours late at almost 11:AM This was the beginning of the worst move of my lifeThe workers told me they were having issues locating a semi truck and I think it's because the company doesn't actually own any semi trucksWhen they showed up, it appeared to be rented because it had no Moving Compnay name or markings The delay made my job run two days requiring me to stay overnight in a hotelAfter only being on the job for about two hours, all men were taking an hour breakI paid for men and a semi and on day one, men showed up because three of the seven guys didn't work I was really down one man so that made day one take even longer [redacted] The Semi Driver remained in his air-conditioned cab most of the time and the other two worthless workers were his sonsThey did virtually nothing but break my belongings and walk around looking confusedOne of the boys told me he had just had a wrist operation and wasn't supposed to lift anything but he needed a paycheckHis younger brother would stand around and do nothingAfter catching all the men take excessive breaks and watching them drag/boxes down a set a stairs and literally hearing things break, I called their boss whose name was ***He was very nice and attentive and stopped much of the shenanigans with one phone call but that coulnn't erase what had already transpired On day two when they came to deliver my contents, they arrived over 1/hours late and with only with men this time (three of which were the same ones from the previous day that didn't work)Their excuse for being late was that the truck had a governor and could only go mphOnly two men worked the entire dayThose two were [redacted] & [redacted] and they worked their butts off and did a good jobI asked [redacted] why they didn't complain to the boss that the others weren't working and they seemed afraid to make waves Again, because the other three didn't work, the delivery took longer than what was quoted because the three men I paid for did nothing; in essence, I only had men doing the job of When they finished they told me my balance was zero and left and when I called the next day to complain to [redacted] about the whole experience, he tried to say I still owed $ Furthermore, after unpacking, I found dozens of broken items, two broken/non working very expensive TV's and one very expensive watch mysteriously disappeared from one of my boxesWithin a couple of days I received a call from [redacted] at Forward saying she was in quality control and wanted to know if I was pleased with my moveAfter filling her in with all that happened, she became horrified and said they would do something about it and apologized profuselyShe called me the next day and said they would process a claim only if I paid the $balance which sounds a lot like extortion to meThis company was the absolute worst that I have ever used and all those great reviews that you see on-line must be manufactured by the Forward Van LinesThere is no way you can screw up a move any worse than mine and it just be a coincidence or one time eventThey are not as good as the reviews indicate and I wouldn't recommend them to anybody They sound great on the phone and willing to please from [redacted] to [redacted] & Guy but the truth is, my move didn't go well and they tried to screw me in the end by trying to collect more money and then wouldn't honor any claims for the breakage, non working TV's or stolen watch I have reported them to the police as well

The overall experience with Forward Van Lines was exceptionalFVL was able to meet and exceed my expectations even on "last minute" situationsI was never given "NO" for an answer; in the contrary the staff worked tirelessly to provide me with excellent serviceMy situation was extremely time limited and FVL just simply tackled the task in hand with great professionalism and meeting every deadlineVery courteous and professional staff

Stay away from this company
First they show up two and a half hours after their arrival window
Then when they get here, all of a sudden their "guaranteed flat rate" was no good any more and they want to charge an hourly rate Which obviously would be significantly more
If you're not familiar, that's the old bait and switch
So now I have a house full of boxes with no one to move them, because I don't give business to con men and swindlers

I had a contender set to move me from FL to CA yet after some negative dealings and terrible surveys I called forward finallyThe beginning setup was incredible, I needed to call various times making alterations, insane time clashes and limitations and they worked with me the entire time, constantly extremely charming and speedy to get it setWhile I didn't have an immaculate experience, one of my containers was missed amid my drop off (I did however survey and sign on the off base stock, that would have gotten it) - the organization hand conveyed the single lost box to my condo and were in contact the whole timeThey were adaptable, agreeable, decently valued and worked with me for my insane time tables and a minute ago setupWould prescribe to anybody

Forward was responsive and provided excellent service at fair prices in dealing with complicated moves and storage over an almost 1 year period. I highly recommend the company.

STAY AWAY, [redacted] the owner or whatever he is LIES, and hides behind his desk, he says he will help you but then he is never there when you call him. Once all my stuff was on the truck my price went from $2159 to $6500 for the same items, they added a bunch of nonsense fee's that weren't even on their contract, when I spoke with [redacted] he told me he will give me a discount, when I asked them to unload the truck they wanted to charge me $3000 to unload and put everything back in the house, I had no chose but to move with them, even though guy said he will help me with the move and provide me a discount, HE LIED HE NEVER DID, I had to pay out $6000.00. Again, because the other three didn't work, the delivery took longer than what was quoted because the three men I paid for did nothing; in essence, I only had 2 men doing the job of 5. When they finished they told me my balance was zero and left and when I called the next day to complain to [redacted] about the whole experience, he tried to say I still owed $900.

Furthermore, after unpacking, I found dozens of broken items, two broken/non working very expensive TV's and one very expensive watch mysteriously disappeared from one of my boxes.
