Complaint *** Mr***, Mr*** has been informed that the part he is looking for is from an older model stock and has not been used for the last years. His stock is a new one that no longer uses that part. Yes, there is a place inside the box for that part
to sit but it is NO LONGER MANUFACTURERED or needed. We have tried to explain this to Mr***. We have sent him video links and written instructions. He continues to insist that he is missing a part when in fact we believe he is not. If Mr*** would like to send us a photo of all the parts that he has received we will review again. If there is a part missing by all means we will replace it. I will even help Mr*** install. The only thing he would owe is the shipping on the rifle. I will even cover the shipping on the return for Mr***. I have personally not been involved with Mr*** but if need be I can be. The only thing we will need is a picture of the parts that he received. I am not saying that we have never made a mistake. We are aware of Mr*** and his concern. He purchased an Origin-Shotgun from us several years ago. When our weapon system was launched there was a concern in the market that regulations were going to make the shotgun extremely hard to get. It was because of this that many
customers like *** purchased a receiver from FosTecH to be made into The Origin Shotgun. It did take longer than expected to get the shotguns out the door but we did deliver to Mr***. Though Mr*** felt it did take longer than expected we still beat the industry standard for a new weapon system. Mr*** received his weapon and transferred it to his name. He had an issue with his weapon early on and FosTecH paid for shipping to have it brought back to FosTecH’s manufacturing facility. FosTecH then gave Mr*** all the most recent updates that were being offered to the Origin platform at no additional fee. FosTecH then shipped the weapon back to Mr*** and to our knowledge all issues have been resolved. Mr*** recently demanded a refund. We shared with him that we do not purchase firearms back or give refunds on a firearm. This is an not just FosTecH’s policy but the entire firearm industry. We cannot accept a gun back from a customer that has been transferred to his or her name. In an email I asked Mr*** if the firearm was performing and he said yes. His most recent email, I have copied below along with my response Mr*** wrote: I am still waiting for a response to my inquiryMy displeasure is not based solely on the failure of my firearm to functionIt is the the two years I have spent waiting for parts and services that I feel are never comingLast I heard there are still no drums or short barrels available for purchaseThere has also been no word on extended mags I asked aboutI purchased this gun on many factorsSo far, Fostech has failed to deliver on any of its promises FosTecH’s Response: ***, We do have many accessories available for your Origin and you will receive special pricing because of being an early customer. They are in limited supply and that is the reason you do not see them on our website. FosTecH has answered all of his inquiries to my knowledge. He did not get the response he was looking for but FosTecH has went above and beyond to try to satisfy this customer. We will continue to try to accommodate Mr*** but FosTecH will NOT refund a firearm that he took delivery on January 9th, 2015. Over months have now passed. Please let me know if you would like any other information from FosTecH. 5/17/2017 Case ID [redacted]   I am not sure if you read this customer's complaint. He is upset because the state he lives in does not allow us to ship his product to him. It is not that we are withholding his product because we want to. It is ILLEGAL IN HIS STATE. He has called us and...

threatened that he would call the ATF because we would not ship the trigger to him when Oregon State law is clear he should not have it. We also offered to cover the shipping to a friend or relative that lived outside the state and then he could have the liability of taking into the State of Oregon. He said that was not an option. FosTecH did offer the customer a full refund of his purchase price when we found out that we could not ship to the state of Oregon. The website was also updated so that all customers can see where the trigger is allowed to be shipped. The customer continues to say just ship it to me, we CANNOT AND WILL NOT ship and item that we know is illegal in his state of residence. The customer then implied that we were responsible for his credit card debt. He did not figure the interest rate correctly because it is a yearly rate and not a monthly rate but never the less we did not ask him to use a credit card. I am not going to address this issue any more than to state FosTecH will NOT be paying the interest on his credit card.   To my understanding,we have satisfied  this  customer by shipping him other products. FosTecH went as far as giving him a greater value (699.00) in product shipped than what he originally paid (489.00) FosTecH has done everything we are willing to do to make this customer happy. FosTecH shipped products of greater value that are legal in the State of Oregon. If this does not satisfy this customer, I am not sure what actually would and FosTec H will not be doing anything more. Thank you, Judd F[redacted]
