After working with the Clinic Manager and billing staff I found that there are no balances with Foster County Medical...

Center for the consumer or her minor child. The balances that she is referring to are with the hospital and not the clinic. The clinic billing can't be pulled together into 1 bill. Each encounter is a single statment. We can't combine bills for anyone. The employee that the consumer complains about handles the clinic bills, and so she was correct that there were no balances. this employee is not known to be rude, she is very kind, timid and patient.
I found that the consumer had delinquent balances and then filed for financial assistance with the hospital and was granted 75% write off. The balancs were not paid on 2 accounts and were sent to collections. I spoke to our recovery department and requested that the 2 accounts be pulled back for the patient to pay. This has been done on 7-10-15. The hospital bills are also individual bills, but when setting up a payment plan, a consumer can request the aged accounts be combined for 1 statement.
I would like to submit a complete document of my findings while reviewing this complaint.
