Upon reviewing the complaint, Foster Fuels would like to respond with the following –As standard procedure on loaned propane tanks, the computer generates a tank rental charge when minimum gallons have not been used.  Propane tanks are very expensive, and they either require rental fee or...

appropriate gas usage.  The accounting system then generates monthly finance charges on unpaid balances.  This is what has happened in Mr. [redacted]’s case.  It is unclear where the communication breakdown has occurred, but our customer system has documented repeated attempts to contact Mr. [redacted] throughout 2015 include a personal visit to the residence.It has been confirmed that our tanks have been removed.  As such, we have determined that in this case, it is best to credit Mr. [redacted]’s account in full, and move forward amicably.We have repeatedly tried to contact him with no response, therefore we have mailed this information to him and we consider the matter closed.Respectfully,[redacted]Contract Officer / Community Assistance Coordinator
