I purchased school uniforms for my daughter on 06/28/appr4:00pmI was assisted by a sales representative with the uniform requirements for schoolI was told that I needed to purchase a PE uniform which consisted of a t-shirt and shortsI didn't feel comfortable with the shorts because I have a daughter and the shorts appeared to be for boys so I spoke to the director of the school and she advised that the PE uniform was optionalI returned to the store today 6/29/appr1:pm to return the shorts and get a refund because I was improperly advised that the shorts were mandatoryI spoke with a representative and later with the store manager Angel Velez who also informed me that the shorts were mandatoryI informed him that I was advised by the director of the school that it wasn't and he proceeded to call the school and I spoke with them and it was determined that the shorts were not mandatoryHe still refused to give me a refund and only offered a store credit or exchange

I purchased a pair of work shoes months ago went back to the store to explain to them that the shoes I purchased were coming apartI sent over $for these that didn't last a year and now the shoes are damagedBad customer service no one could or wouldn't help

This complaint is to formally demand a refund of $on receipt #XXXXXX-XI went to the store on the last day of tax free weekend, August 6, in order to purchase uniforms for my rising KindergartenerShe is in-between sizes and the store was so busy that I decided that we would try on the skort ($14.99) and polos ($each) when we went homeHence, I requested the customer service representatives to retrieve non-embroidered items for me from the back as all of your display inventory is pre-embroidered (see attached photos)Once I got to the register, I explained that I did not want the items embroidered yet because she has not yet tried them onThe cashier INSISTED that we take pre-embroidered items because the embroiderers were very busy and if everything fits, I would not have to come back for embroidery and if they don't, they would exchange itSo I waited mins for someone to find pre-embroidered items on everything including the skort and was left the boys pants for embroidery
I returned the VERY next day (8/7) to exchange the girls items for a different size and was denied an exchangeFirst, I was told that I needed an original receipt and the receipt I was given was conveniently a duplicate receiptThen, I was told that there was no exchange on embroidered itemsI went back on 8/to pick up the pants that I had embroidered and I demanded to speak to a manager but he was too busy to talkIncidentally, my receipt indicates that I had items embroidered which is not accurateOf my items, only one was embroidered I have been calling the toll-free customer cr and noone ever picks upThus, I am putting my request in writing for a REFUND as I have now incurred additional expenses in going the hand-me-down and seamstress route so that my daughter can be ready for her first day of Kindergarten tomorrow
After researching this, I have learned that this company has already been reported to the Revdex.com for refund scamsIn my case, I was given a duplicate and falsified receipt and duped into taking pre-embroidered itemsI have also learned that your refund policy is in violation of florida statute "Every retail sales establishment offering goods for sale to the general public that offers no cash refund, credit refund, or exchange of merchandise must post a sign so stating at the point of saleFailure of a retail sales establishment to exhibit a "no refund" sign under such circumstances at the point of sale shall mean that a refund or exchange policy exists."
My point of sale was station and there is no sign at that register (photo attached)Further, I went back in and found your sign which is conveniently leaning against the lighting in the ceiling and partially covered by a boxThis means that the sign is not clear and prominent as required by Florida law (photo attached)Thus, I will be submitting photos and reporting this company to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as well the Federal trade commission if I am not promptly refundedI have the unused, unworn items with tags and have returned to the location several times immediately after purchasing the items
Note: Someone called me to follon 8/and declined to refund me

Retailer refused to offer a refund or store credit for returned items, and was very rude

Their return policy is a scam They refused to give me my full refund on the items that were purchased and open box inside store by employeeI printed out their return policy and employee was giving a run a around Offer store credit when my child does not go to the school that requires uniform and I do not ever need a uniform please stay away from all uniform wear please do not shop there customer service is horrible , I am so upset that I lost dollars This store and business is a scam STAY AWAY
