now aware that this was not sold by Fotodiox, but was, in fact, sold by a Third Party vendorFotodiox Inc does, however, stand by our product and have shipped a replacement part to this customer

I ordered a [redacted] to [redacted] mount adapter from Fotodiox.com but was sent the [redacted] to [redacted] adapter instead. When I informed them of this error I was told that I had been sent an "upgrade". I pointed out that while the [redacted] lenses would without doubt fit on the [redacted] adapter, the two lens systems did not function in the same manner and that I wanted the product I had ordered, not their "upgrade". After much exchange of emails they finally accepted the return - at my expense - and reimbursed me the cost of the adapter only. I was therefore left empty handed after having paid for freight both ways - roughly equivalent to the cost of the adaptor. While the quality of the Fotodiox product appears to be ok, because of their poor business practices - I believe I should have been informed prior to having been sent the "upgrade" - and apparent low esteem of their clientele, I will be purchasing an adaptor from another manufacturer.
