Review: The plumber's name is [redacted] he is also the CEO of the company (Fottiani Plumbing LLC).My restaurant had backup in grease trapAll we need was a professional with proper equipment to snake the pipe next to the grease trapThe plumber was not capable to complete the job, but he insisted he couldThen he failed.On the phone, I asked him if he could do restaurant plumbing, he said yesAfter his arrival, I asked again if he knew what was wrong, he said yesI also tried to give him advice based on my experienceHe refused to listen and kept saying "Listen to meListen to me..." He thinks the problem was at the main line and started to remove the toilet so he can check the main lineI asked him if he was sure that was the problem because the toilet works fineHe told me to listen to him instead of questioning what he was doingI shut up and let him do the workOf course, he didn't find anything under the toilet and he wanted to go back home get a snakeA plumber does not have a snake machine in his truck?! I have told him there was a stoppage in the pipe on the phoneWhy didn't he bring a snake? Well, at this point, I can only pray he is right and trust his knowledgeWe rescheduled for pm that night to continue the work.He came in time this timeHe told us he had spoken with someone and he knew what was wrongAll he has to do is pumping out all the grease at the bottom of the grease trap then it will workAgain, he does not allow me to speakWithin thirty minutes, he pumped out all the grease and charged me $Since the grease trap is empty, there's no way we can test if it is workingAgain, I trusted his knowledge and hoped it would work.One week later, we found the trap has backup againI called him and he came back on Tuesday, 27th at amHe finally brought his snake, but he insisted he needed to snake the Main line instead of the pipe I suggestedI reminded him one more time, the problem was not at the main drain, and he needed to open the little chamber right next to the trap and snake that pipe through that chamberI know that because I already spoken with the installer and that was his recommendationUnfortunately, he still didn't listen to me, he removed the toilet once again, snaked the main line, and found a very tiny mop stringHe showed it to me and told me this is the reason it was cloggedI didn't believe itBut he kept saying "listen to meThat is what caused the backup!"What can I say? I was too tired to argue with himI don't understand why he didn't want to snake the pipe to the grease trap? Is it too much work? Is it too dirty?Before he left, he said I could call him if there's still backupFifteen minutes later, the grease trap got back up againI called himHe asked me what if he came back to do what I told him to do which is snaking the pipe to the grease trap and it still doesn't work, what would I do? I said I would call you againI paid you and expected you to fix problemLike you bring your car to repair, you pay the money and you expect the car will runNow my car is still not running, shouldn't I bring it back to the shop? Guess what he said, "good bye!"He refused my credit card paymentOnly want to accept check.After he pumped out the grease, he asked for paymentI preferred paying by credit card because I don't trust him, and the credit card adds extra protectionHe was not happy about that and he said " yes, but they will charge me..." but he still went to his truck to get his "credit card machine"Most of time, the contractor only writes down the credit card number and billing information, they don't need a "machine"No surprise, he came back with empty hands: "I can't find the machine" he saidWhat an excuse! On the invoice, there is an option for paying by credit card.There are two reasons he doesn't want me to use credit card: There will be a fee for him to payHe concerned about I will dispute the charge laterEven himself not so sure it if the problem was solvedHe asked for free food twice in return of installing new parts.He asked me to prepare free food at the night he pumped out the greaseI refused, because one, kitchen has already closedSecond, I don't believe him had solve the problem by pumping out the grease and I was not satisfied with his serviceThird, I paid him $580, why I still need to cook for him at the middle of the night?At his third and last visit, he asked for free food againI refused againHe got mad and told me:" I was going to install this new parts to the toilet for youBut because you don't want to give me free food, I won't install them for youall restaurants I went to they give me free food..." are you kidding? You got mad at me because I dint give you free food? Didn't I just pay you almost $600? I think I'm the one should get mad, for the second time I had to come early to wait for youI didn't even know if the problem has been solvedBecause of your incorrect diagnoses, you had to remove the toiletAnd you don't want to put the toilet back for me? What a ridiculous personI am speechlessBeing late for two hours on the first appointment The first appointment was scheduled at am, Aug 19th at my restaurantI called him at 7:am wondering where he was; found out that he has not left yetI have to reschedule to 9amMy partner and I got up early and wasted two hours waiting for himHe refused to offer a refund, not only just partial.I was so angry and called the agent and asked him give me partial refundI didn't ask him for a full refund was because I know he had spent time in this, as a business owner I totally understand thatI told agent he can keep $and refund me the restI think I am very generous for doing this because with allDesired Settlement: I request a full refund of $

We received a service call on 18, September through our third party agent ([redacted].) for a service call to the [redacted], of which [redacted] was a representativeHe made it clear to me on the phone that he needed someone to clear to and restore the grease trap in his store and I went ahead and schedule service call the next business day
On getting to the job site, I inspected the job told him what my job scope entails, which is clean and restore the grease trap in the store, of which he believed that was the cause of the problem as of that time, In spite of my professional opinion, because he wanted to avoid higher cost I wrote down the job scope on the work order authorization form, and the price which he readily agreed to by signing the paper before I proceeds to do the job(Copy of the signed Invoice attached)
I had to re-schedule to come back out later evening 10:p.m because the job cannot be performed during the business hours because of the strong odors that will emanate which might great discomfort to his customersAs agreed on my contract, I cleaned out the grease trap to ensure proper flow, and even went ahead to check on the adjacent toilet to ensure there was no backup in there
A week later [redacted] called me back to complain of the backup, although the job did not come with a call back guarantee, yet I responded the following day as a courtesy customers service, and I snake the line up to feet with Kmachine job which ordinarily would have cost $at no chargeCouples of hours later he called me back that he has spoken with the installers, and he was directed to open up certain chamber and I should come back and snake the lineAt this point I made it known to [redacted] that I've satisfied my contractual obligations with his company and that I was no longer obliged to perform more free services for him
On the issue of food, this is just a private side conversation between me and [redacted] which has no bearing on the job at all, he is not obliged to give any free lunch if he doesn't want toFottlani plumbing llc is a customer's service oriented company which makes satisfaction of our customers a number one priority at all timesFor more questions feel free to contact me

I am rejecting this response because:
The plumber did not offer any resolution in his statement
The plumber called me and left me a threaten voice mail after receive communication from Revdex.comHe called me again next morning with a blocked ID and threatened me to have my business shut down if I kept complaining
When I contacted the third party agent and the plumber, I stated very clear that the grease trap had backup and need a plumber to fix the problemI never asked him to "clean and restore the grease trap"He is lying about the factGrease trap cleaning should be done by other professionals in the fieldThey do things more than just plumping out the grease, they also deep clean, sanitize, and moreFurthermore, the average price for cleaning the grease trap is only $Why do I need to pay something that I did not ask for? and way overpaid? If snaking the toilet and cleaning the grease trap can unclog the pipe, I am willing to pay the priceBut neither of those actions took affect on my problemWhy does customer need to pay such a high price for his misdiagnose?
The plumber stated that "customer satisfaction is number one priority"Ironically, here is an unsatisfied customer but he does not know to how to take care of his customer, bad business decision
I still offered a very generous resolution when he called me and threatened meI asked him to keep $because I understand he spent time and put effort into it, he is just not good enough to get this job doneHowever, this "customer satisfaction is number one priority" business owner said "NO WAY!"
Now, I am asking for a full refund
