Found Stuff

This is a job that we took on sight unseen from a guardianship company located in Minnesota that had never seen the storage units located in Washington They relayed to us that their client no longer had the financial means to pay for storage and the units needed to be cleared out as soon as
possible When originally asked to clear the storage units belonging to Ms** *** by *** *** of LSS Guardianship Options we were told to throw away, donate or sell what we could and given no time limit to complete the project, but instructed to recover any and all of our costs before being required to forward any funds to LSS They have been told repeatedly that we are doing the best job we can as fast as we can, but that we have a full schedule and can only devote their client so much of our time and that as soon as we made a profit we would mail them any remaining funds
When we began opening boxes after removing the contents from storage we found box after box after box of Harlequin Romance paperbacks, Reader Digest Books, tubs of polyester fabric, well used clothing, etc There is no market for those items Another large amount of Ms***'s belongings had a strong odor, was moldy we are guessing from long term or poor storage or was vermin infested making it unsaleable As such, those items were taken to a waste disposal site or donated Donation slips have been provided
It has taken us almost two years to sell the remainder of Ms***'s goods while trying to recover our costs If I were to itemize out my entire expenses for two trucks, personnel, boxing, unboxing, hauling to the dump, hauling for donation, etcLSS or Ms*** would owe my company money The majority of Ms***'s items were what we donate everyday as leftovers from estate sales We tried to make the best of a tough situation as we could after accepting an assignment we should have walked away from
Attached please find copies of the invoices and a copy of the USPS Click-N-Ship with tracking number to prove that we have completed our transaction with LSS and Ms*** ***

[redacted] prior to or during our sale, we never contacted [redacted]'s Appliance Removal as we had no such information, and had
never spoken to ** or [redacted] until they show** up on Sunday at the end of the sale.Sincerely,[redacted]

My company, Foundstuff, is not the company that picked up the items to be donated or the one that received the donation slip.  We conduct** Mrs. [redacted]'s downsizing sale and then supplied her with the contact information of a separate company that we knew who would at no cost to the estate...

haul off any remaining goods.  Mrs. [redacted] contract** with [redacted] & ** or [redacted]'s Appliance Removal, (503)[redacted], separately from myself or my company, Foundstuff after the completion of the sale.
I have attempted to contact [redacted] or ** numerous times on Mrs. [redacted]'s behalf in an attempt to get them to forward the donation slip.  They have been unresponsive and I am no longer referring them to my clients.  I did supply Mrs. [redacted] with a completed IRS 8283 for the donation of the items that I personally took to the Community Warehouse and had sign** by them acknowledging the donation of her sale leftovers, but they would not supply me with a second donation slip.
Again, Foundstuff had no part in picking up or donating any left over items from Mrs. [redacted]'s sale.  I merely provided a name and phone number.
