I bought identical pieces of 24" Ricardo Elite Crystal City model, two black and two purple, luggage at *** in Lakeside Mall, Metairie, LA for our 5/European family vacation, using my *** cardWe used them once more for overseas travel and then they started breaking., one by one, little by little Handles came off, then zipper pulls, then a zipper June 11, I wrote to ***@ricardobeverlyhills.com specifying the problems and after some back and forth they determined that I because I lived over miles form the nearest repair center I should send pictures of the damage - handles, zipper pulls and cuts I sent the pics, and we went back and forth about what I needed, and finally they said they would mail the parts The parts never arrived, I wrote again, they confirmed the address and asserted the parts were delivered July 9, but did not identify the shipping method even though I asked They said they would send the parts again, but still nothing arrived
I purchased a Ricardo piece of luggage for my daughter and she traveled with it overseasIt broke on the very first tripI contacted their customer service and they said they are not responsible for the damageReally!? if the quality of the luggage was even marginally better it would have survived at least ONE TRIP! They should stand behind their product
