William Tidaback (Owner)Advanced Solar and HeatingN Bridge StreetElkton, MD 410-392-

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below July 25, I have read Mr [redacted] ’s response to my original complaint (filed with Revdex.com 5/19/2016) which took him until 7/12/to complete This should give an example of the issues that exist with Advanced Solar and ***eliness I will continue to state the FACTS and my TOTAL dissatisfaction with Advanced Solar with regards to their lackadaisical and cavalier attitude towards both their verbal and contractual commitment made to me I entered into agreement with Advanced Solar in November for a panel solar system to be installed on the roof of my home I was informed by Mr [redacted] that this $30,system would qualify for both Federal and State rebates that would most likely amount to approximately $14, I was informed by Mr [redacted] on multiple occasions that completion of the necessary paperwork for these rebates needed to be and would be handled by his company I, however, was responsible to acquire the Federal Income tax rebate of $on my own when completing my yearly taxes This would leave $6,in incentive rebates from the State and local agencies that I could ONLY receive if/when Mr [redacted] completed his required paperwork I took out a “month same as cash loan” per HIS recommendation that would cover the $14,with the assumption that he would complete his paperwork in a reasonable ***e period such that I would get my rebates in ***e to cover this loan Here are the facts: The installation of the panels/energy convertor started on my home in mid-February The 1st phase of the system (solar panels on roof and energy Solar Edge energy convertor installed in home) completed end of March, I was instructed by Mr [redacted] that DPL would be out to my home in 7-business days to change over the outside electric meter so that I would be tied into the energy grid – so the energy I was producing would be credited to DPL and my monthly electric costs Over the course of the next 7-weeks I made phone calls to DPL and dozens of calls, texts and e-mails to Mr [redacted] attempting to get him to complete the 2nd part of the required DPL paperwork for this meter to be installed He received an e-mail from DPL – he disregarded it Finally, on my 8th call to DPL – the DPL representative put me onto a conference call to Mr [redacted] and instructed him that his paperwork was incomplete and they wanted him to correct it such that they could satisfy my meter change over My new meter was changed over in days after this effort on my part In this instance, Mr [redacted] failed in his responsibility to properly handle paperwork as agreed upon by him The 2nd phase of the installation of my system was completed April 19th, 2016- where a mandatory communication line from the Solar Edge convertor connecting to the internet occurred At the ***e this connection was completed, Mr [redacted] s’ son, [redacted] instructed me that Advance Solar office manager would contact me in 1-days with the log in and sign on instructions so that I could establish an on-line account with the manufacturer of the Solar Convertor This connection is MANDATORY in order to qualify for the SEU – Solar Renewable Energy Credit of $3, This connection is needed so that the SEU – can monitor my solar making capacities for years By being able to check in on my system, they can monitor my energy and by doing so, they provide the rebate up-front to me Over the course of the next months I made phone calls to Solar Edge in California in my attempt to determine if Advanced Solar completed their necessary paperwork such that I could establish and online connection to the solar convertor in my system They sent him an e-mail – which they state he ignored It wasn’t until July 12, where as a matter of frustration on the part of Solar Edge company representatives in California where they went ahead and just gave me access to the gateway such that my system could be monitored remotely Again, I cite this as a failure by Mr [redacted] to complete his obligation to me as contracted The SEU paperwork necessary for the up-front credit of $3,(as of July, 12, 2016) HAS NEVER BEEN RECEIVED by the Delaware Public Service Commission Where this is Mr [redacted] ’s obligated responsibility to handle this paperwork requirement, I find myself struggling now to manage it with the help of representative from the DE PUC They are not pleased that this contractor has not completed this process Again, this is a failure on the part of Mr [redacted] to complete necessary paperwork as agreed upon contractuallyLastly, as of July 12, – the necessary paperwork for the Delaware Green Energy Fund Program ($3,rebate) has NOT been completed by Advanced Solar I have contacted this agency about a dozen ***es to see where this paperwork process is They have e-mailed Mr [redacted] with a request that he complete said paperwork According to their representative – he has ignored this e-mailAccording to their representative, there are other Advanced Solar customers sitting in a similar state waiting for Mr [redacted] to complete necessary obligated paperwork Again I find myself having to attempt to complete this paperwork – again, this is a failure of Mr [redacted] Now, Mr [redacted] ’s initial response to my Revdex.com claim is that: “To the best of my knowledge (my) paperwork has been submitted as far as we can take it” Well, this is not true as evidenced by the body of support I have provided Much paperwork remains incomplete and much has not even BEEN submitted This is a fact “I believe Mr [redacted] is on track – we have made it clear that solar rebates are a lengthy process ” This process has been extraordinarily lengthier because the paperwork required by these agencies has not been completed by Advanced Solar This is a fact If Mr [redacted] told me up front he was NOT going to complete the paperwork necessary to guarantee I would even have a chance at getting my rebates I would not have entered into agreement to do business with him “We pay Enerbank a fee so that our clients get months same as cash”Enerbank does not offer an month same as cash – or at least did not for me It was months I started the process with them March 30th, months of those has passed and my paperwork for the rebates/grants have not been completed by Mr [redacted] I most likely won’t make this deadline now as a result of his lackadaisical and cavalier attitude to his responsibilities to complete the paperwork process This is a fact “ (Mr [redacted] ) appear to be someone who will never be happy no matter what our efforts”Mr [redacted] entered into a contractual agreement with Mr [redacted] , Advanced Solar in where he promised he would install a solar system and manage all the paperwork necessary for me to qualify for Solar Energy credits and rebates As of today, July 25, – Mr [redacted] has NOT kept his end of the agreement – this is a fact Therefore, I am definitely dissatisfied with him and his company I will never do business with the company again I feel Mr [redacted] owes me the decency to prioritize MY account – personally – ASAP and complete the necessary paperwork that he verbally and contractually agreed he would do That is the ONLY way this complaint can be satisfactorily closed

Because of the crazy weather, from winter summer in a day, our company got overwhelmed with A/C calls and was unable to cater to the spring maintenance request of Mr [redacted] and several others as wellWe offered Mr [redacted] 1/of his money back for the remaining six months of his contract, as well as an additional HVAC contract for the next year for free
