Review: I HAVE BEEN LIVING IN THE FOUNTAIN OAK APARTMENTS FOR ONE YEAR AND THREE MONTHS. THE INCIDENT WAS MY A/C WASNT WORKING FOR OVER THREE MONTHS AND I HAVE A NEW BORN CHILD THERE WERENT NOT TRYING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THAT.I MADE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS DUE TO THE A/C NOT WORKING. THE SECOND INCIDENT WAS MY OVEN NOT WORKING A ALL I TOLD THE OFFICE SEVERAL TIMES THAT IT WAS NOT WOKING I HAD TO STAY AT MY GRANDMOTHERS HOUSE FOR ALMOST A MONTH.NOW IM HAVING A BIGGER SITUATION AND ITS INVOLVING MY REFRIGERTOR BEING INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND I HAVE TOLD THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN I HAVE TWO LITTLE CHILDREN AND I CANT LIVE LIKE THIS AT ALL THIS IS NASTY AND IAM TIRED I HAVE TOOK PICTURE OF THIS IN MY REFRIGERTOR. THEY ARENT TRYNG TO DO ANYTHNG ABOUT IT.Desired Settlement: I JUST DONT WANT TO BE THERE ANYMORE ITS NOT A PLACE OR MY CHILDREN ITS VERY UNHEALTHY AND DISUSTING I JUST WANT TO BE OUT OF THERE IF POSSIBLE

Review: We moved at the end of March 2013 and our refundable pet deposit of $150.00has yet to be refunded. Every time we attempt to call we are told to call back because manager is not in office. We called [redacted], the parent company of the apartment complex, in june and they said they will get back to us, however this has yet to happen and now when I call the company my phone are not being answered.Desired Settlement: Would just like for my deposit to be refunded as soon as possible.

Response:

A representative of the property spoke with one of the former residents on 08/28/2013 regarding this issue. We have advised the resident to contact the former management company regarding the refund. The reason for this is that when [redacted] took over management of Fountain Oaks in 2011, the resident already resided here. His deposits are not on record with [redacted] and did not transition over when the management software was implemented. All deposits that were entered by the previous management company for all residents transferred over. Therefore, without record of a deposit, there is no option for refund directly from [redacted]. We provided the number for the previous management company and assisted in the best way possible. The management team is very sorry for the inconvenience regarding this refund and would gladly answer any additional questions the resident may have.
