The apartment was very clean compared to when I moved inI cleaned the carpet twice when I moved in and kept that apartment in good shape
I tried to be reasonable with *** and I feel she is stealing my security deposit
Notice was given with November Rent payment
Under Wisconsin Statute and Wisconsin Administrative Code her excuses for not returning my deposit are not meritedI believe some investigating of prior renters will show that this scam is a common one that *** and Swanson Properties pulls knowing most will not pursue actions because of cost and time involvedRevdex.com:

Mr*** did rent from us, and did give a verbal notice of his plans to move, which I understood as one month later than he actually planed to move, I never received an actual written notice stating his move out date which we requireWhen he left he returned the keys through my drop box,
that is when I realized that he was moving a month before I thought he was vacatingI went in to check his apartment, to make sure everything was cleaned properly as specified in his check listI noticed a few things that were not done or overlooked so I called him to give him an opportunity to rectify the missed items,his keys were already returned so I would have to let him inHe told me that he would try to get someone out to do the things that I told him about, they could get there sometime on SundayAfter church on that Sunday (about 11:00) I came out to unlock the apartment so Clint could get in to do what needed to be doneI arrived to find a napkin in the door saying that he was there and could not get inI immediately called him to let him know that I was done with church and would leave the door open if he wanted to come and finish- which I didFirst of all, he turned in his keys, which means he is actually finished doing what he plans to doSince he was a good tenant I was willing to let him back in to fix the things he missedWe did not have a set time for him to come and I was here by 11:00amSince he did not call to let me know when he would be there, I did not plan to open the door prior to church and I was not going to leave the apartment open all weekend not knowing if he would actually show up at allI called Clint when I saw that I had missed him and he said he would have the person come back- which did not happenI went in and cleaned the rest of the apartment as the check out sheet stated it needed to be done the following week and sent out his invoiceIf the apartment was indeed cleaner than when he moved in why was he willing to come out and finish what he forgot to do?
If I was trying to do bad business why would I give him the opportunity to come back and finish not once but twice ?
