[redacted] came into our store on December 12, 2016.  He was purchasing 4 new winter tires for his [redacted].  When we were installing the new tires we performed a quick front end inspection.  This is performed all vehicles coming into my store.  When we did...

the inspection we found there was some movement or play in the front end.  We informed [redacted] that we would have to perform a more complete  and detailed inspection to find out what parts are damaged and require replacement.  [redacted] declined the inspection and we declined the inspection on his final invoice.     [redacted] then contacted us around February 24, 2017.  He asked for a quote to replace the tie rod ends on his car.  We explained him at that time that we would have to perform the front end inspection to determine what parts would need to be replaced.  The price we quoted him was only an approximate price as we need to complete the inspection first.  He dropped his car off on February 24th for us to perform the inspection.  After doing the proper inspection, we found that there were more parts requiring replacement then just the tie rod ends.  I contacted [redacted] and informed him of what was need to be replaced to make is car safe to drive.  He informed me that he did not have the money to repair his car and he was coming down to pick up his car.    I have also include copies of our work orders and final invoices for both of [redacted]’s visits to my store.  If you have any question please feel free to contact me at 780.478.2155.   Thank you   Scott S[redacted] Owner  Fountain Tire Londonderry

this refund was already done on June [redacted] 2015 at 9:01 pm.  transaction reference number  [redacted] in the full amount of $216.16customer needs to check his statement , we have already done the refund for him.

I am rejecting this response because: we didn't get what we paid for. If the vehicle was in that bad of condition we should have been told it was unsafe to be worked on, or that it would have made more sense to just get a new one. Scott shouldn't have taken our money and put new tires on without doing the balancing and aligning as we were told he would when we went in to fountain tire. He treated my fiancé and I quite badly and he then held our car hostage when we went to pick the car up. The fact that he ISNT DENYING IT should be enough to move forward with this. My fiancé is my witness. What Scott says wasn't true. And I will not accept this response because of that. We are not the only people he has screwed over, but I won't be one to get screwed by him. My fiancé supports this, and this is just one of many reasons why I reject this response.

Yes I did receive the payment on 07/**/2015 and but not on 6/**/2015 as they claim and that is after calling several times in a day.Thanks, for your HELP.

the tire did not blow because of over inflation.It blew because our tech had damaged the bead while installing it.

In talking with the Tire Technicians that mounted the tires on the rims, all three, stated that they inflated the tires to 40 psi, which is only 5 psi over the maximum limit for that tire.  The tire that "blew up" did not blow up because of over inflation, it was damaged during the mounting...

process.  We have accepted responsibility for that damage and Fountain Tire High Level is willing to replace the damaged tire.

I am rejecting this response because:i brought the remaining 3 tires back to fountain tire and 3 employees came and checked the psi and confirmed they were over 60 psi. It took them over 10 minutes to air the tires down to the correct psi.
