that you sent by mail to usShe
vacated on 4/30/I am attaching her Final account statementThis is the
standard statement for all residents that move out and we send via US postal
service if they owe the property any balanceAs you can see the resident is
given days to pay their account before it goes to an outside collection
agencyThis was sent out 5/6/It
has not been returned to usSo we had no reason to believe she wouldn’t receive
itIt was sent to the forwarding address she gave the Fountain Wood office
staff on 2/18/It has not been returned to us to date.On August 26, *** *** my assistant manager sent out a reminder letter for the balance
of $due within days or it would be sent to our outside
collection company with an additional fee of 35% bringing total to $121.32.I contacted our collection company to see how the collection
process went with Ms*** before I responded to her complaintI am attaching
the response I received from PRG.Ms*** did call the Fountain Wood office on 9/22/and
stated she had not received any of our correspondence and was upset that a
collection company had contacted herTo that I’m not sure what to say, we sent
it to the address she gave us and it did not come back to usOur intent is not to be rude or condescending in any way to
any former resident I cannot say if she
received them or not? I can say both
were mailed from this office as we do any and all residents that owe a balance
I know she would have liked a phone call however, we send our correspondence by
mail to make sure we have a paper trail that it was done for our filesWe do
not call for balances unless the statement or reminder letter is returned to
usPRG explained fees to *** *** and she paid them
However, Fountain Wood does not want a $fee to be the cause of a negative
rating with the Revdex.comI will contact PRG and have them bill Fountain Wood the $fee and see if they can get a
