Four Ace Auto Body Repairs

Review: Per our agreement on August 25, 2012, I brought my vehicle back for [redacted] to complete his unfinished job. Due to the extended repair time my rental car contract had to be extended, he failed to reimburse me for my extra cost. I tried to return my car to his shop on two different occasions to no avail. Once he told me that he was moving which prevented me from leaving the vehicle. I later found out that he did not told me the truth.

The service he provided was horrible. The paint job was messy. Car pulls to one side when driving due to your pulling of the rear trunk, after working on the trunk lid; it prevents the trunk from closing properly. The rear window has scratches all around the edges. From the tape or covering the glass when painting

As agreed, I provided all of my parts and paid my bill in full and to date the work on my vehicle still remains incomplete.Desired Settlement: refunded and the replacement of my rear glass ,trunk lid and repainting cost.

Review: On January 11, 2013 at 5pm, my friends [redacted] and I dropped off my Honda Accord at Four Ace Auto Repair Shop to have it fixed. The damage to the car included the drivers side front bender, corner headlight and the front and rear bumper. The owner, [redacted], and I agreed that I would only be responsible to pay the labor fees for $350, which he asked to be paid upfront in cash. I purchased brand new car parts for $300 to be installed and he promised the car would be fixed within a week. After a month of repeatedly contacting the owner via phone calls and texts, stopping by the shop on 6 separate occasions with no response, he consistently delayed having the car fully fixed. On February 23, 2013, [redacted] and I finally came and took the car out of the garage only to find out that he completely damaged the front and rear bumper with scratches and cracks on it. I confronted [redacted] of the bumper and he promised that he will fix it on my next visit back. I tried contacting him but he would not respond and so I went to his shop in which he slammed the door in my face. On March 9th, 2013 as I was driving and hit a small pothole, the entire front bumper came off on both sides that were merely held in by clips with no screws, the headlights and turn signals were hanging very loosely from the wires. As I inspected it more closely, I came to realize that the owner had replaced the new car parts with old parts and some were missing while the rest was improperly installed. I went back to the shop to dispute the repairs so I can receive my refund for the car repair cost, the cost of the damaged bumpers and also a reimbursement of the car parts that he kept. He refused to resolve the matter and refused my refund. I have spoken to several people who also verified that they have had the same negative experiences with this owner who have been scamming people out of hundreds of dollars. I do not want this to happen to anyone else so that is one of my biggest reason to file this complaint.Desired Settlement: I am highly dissatisfied with the services that was performed. I want a full refund of $800 that includes the cost of the brand new car parts and the damaged parts also.
