First off you bought the gift card in the expiration date was December 2013, she called in to tell me you could not make the expiration date in 2013, cause of her dads health which then I gave you till December to set the date, I tried to set it, she called and wanted to get in within a week! Cause her daughter was moving out of state within that week, at that time no health problems were talked about she wanted to cancel because her daughter was leaving and you guys couldn't do the date I gave you in that week, cause her other daughter had to go to her dadsI never agreed on a full refundThere were no health problems told to me in August When I talked to my lawyer about this one month ago he is the one that told me I could not put a one year expiration date on cardsI'm sorry if you are not happy with this I have already paid taxes on this and sales tax, you have to see it from my business point, what if people bought gift cards and then later on just decided they didn't want to use them, that's not how gift cards work, they do not have a money valueI did agree to give you half but you said noYour dates are stating wrong information, you have had the gift card to yearsYou guys had it all of and

It is obvious we can't agree on this matter, however, I will agree on your offer of half for a refund just to settle this dispute if you will still be willing to honor your offer. Thanks.

First of all, I NEVER said I was going to
bad mouth you around town, if so, I could have commented on several social
networks about this, I did NOT! You told us that after the unusual
circumstances regarding her parents health issues and that we were unable to
set up a time to photograph that you would refund us in full in the fall of
well before your expiration dateWe never heard from you or received the
refundI contacted you in December of to see what was up with this and
you said that now you would refund only half, and when I tried to contact you
again, I left a voicemail & you never returned my callI said that you were
not handling this in a professional manner because you did not do what you
originally told us and never got back to us! I said nothing nasty! We never had
a shoot time set and you never had to miss any functions because of usWe
put our faith in you enough when we gave you$of our hard earned money
Well it turned out we just could not do it in a reasonable time, and what's
worse you said it is not really expired! Really! Do you feel good about
keeping our money when you did not provide us a service! Like I said before, we
really wanted our family portrait and we very well intended to have you photograph
us, it just didn't work outFor the life of me I can’t figure out why you
wouldn't want to make it right with us, that's what I meant when I said we are
all part of this small communityAll I'm asking is for you to keep your original word and refund our money like you said you would!

You had two years to set your appt. your gift certificate has a 1 year expiration date one it. In the Summer of 2013 you called and wanted an extension which I gave you, at that time I told you to make sure you call in advance I am usually booked 3 months out, you guys then called in August of 2014...

wanting to get in within a week. I told you I was booked till the end of October, one week later you called back asking to get in at that time I said we would shoot on a Friday a day we don't work on and I said I would even travel to meet you, your fiancé said she couldn't make that day cause her daughter had to go by her dad. At that time she canceled her appt. I did say I would give a refund but I NEVER agreed on $180. I told you I would give half back and you said no. My prices have gone up since 2012 when you set your appt. so really I do not owe you anything,(you paid $210, my family session for your size in 2014 would of been $350, actually you owe me $140) in the state of wisconsin gift cards have no money value but have a 5 year experation date which I just recently found out, so if you would like to gift the card to someone else feel free. I also did not appreciate your letter to me saying you were going to bad mouth me around our small towns, that is why I chose not to refund you after your letter. I have also asked lawyers and other photographers if I should refund and they all said no I went above and beyond to to try to set your date by giving you and extra 360 days and offer to shoot on a day I had off and miss my kids football game for you. You are saying I am unprofessional cause you are not getting your way. I have photographed 100's of family's and children with not one complaint!
