Four M Sales Reviews (7)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.? I am not an expert on car repairs, or else I would have fixed the vehicle myself? I did not tell M Sales how to fix my car? You can't walk into a doctor office and demand heart surgery based on self-diagnosis? It would reflect poorly on the doctor if he agreed to it? Also, M Sales is trying to debate semantics in 'timing belt' vs 'timing chain'? It is evident that they are the experts, and I am not? Lastly, I went back to [redacted] motors who is willing to back me up in the fact that you do not need to 'break down' an engine to diagnose a bad timing chain? I also spoke to a certified [redacted] mechanic who explained it? He stated that you only would need to remove two covers to observe the tensioner and diagnose a bad timing chain? This is how [redacted] Motors diagnosed my vehicle? I also spoke to a NY DMV rep who agreed that I have a solid case, presented the evidence? M Sale's mechanic is obviously not up to date on his training? I should not have to foot the bill for M Sales diagnostic mistake? M Sales should refund my moneyThey misdiagnosed my vehicle, and did work that the car did not require since it was already a complete loss? It would be like doing a kidney transplant on a dead body? I am demanding a refundRegards, [redacted]

starterAdditionally, our mechanic is *** certified, the *** does not have a timing belt as was stated, it has a timing chain and in order to know a timing chain is broken it would require the engine be torn downThe motor had turned when attempting to start the car, due to the problem being the starter and not the motor
