Company lied about moving delivery date.
*** the sales rep at Four Paws lied about multiple things. We we're told the movers at origin would be the same at the destination. This was a lie. We were also told that if we had everything picked up several days earlier they could meet our delivery date. We moved the pickup date up and paid for a hotel out of pocket. They brokered our move out to a company that never could have met this date, and also has SEVERAL deceptive practice complaints. Our items were delivered almost a month past the date we were promised, and damaged. The warehouse our items were stored in for a month clearly had a cockroach infestation as well, several roaches (dead and alive) were found in multiple boxes.
I'd like our deposit refunded. We were lied to and did not receive the level of service we were promised.

Regarding the statement the sales representative lied to you about having the same movers at pickup and drop off is not a correct statement on your part. The moving company that picked you up was the sole company responsible for your job from beginning to end. Proof that this was the case is made evident with the sign interstate bill of lading you signed at both pickup and drop off. The interstate bill of lading clearly has the same name of the company in the letterhead, and you signed the same document at deliver that you signed at picked. Regarding your deliver expectation not being met, we apologize it took a little longer than expected, but within section 14 of the agreement you signed with Four Paws Moving and Storage it clearly states pickup and drop off dates are simply estimates. The reason why they have to be estimates is because the size of your job did not constitute the entire consumption of a truck and therefore needed to be combined with other jobs. We would have been able to drive straight through had you reserved an entire 18 wheeler at a cost of $27,500. Regarding your statement about the roaches within section 4 of the signed agreement between yourself and Four Paws Moving it clearly states that you agree to hold Four Paws Moving harmless for any action of the mover." In this case the mover was ABC. I have to add that I have never received a complaint about ABC Moving, especially about roaches, this is a first.
