Upon reviewing the attachment, it appears the debts are different debtsThe amount in his attachment is for $165.33, which is substantially lower than the debt we are given to collect in the amount of $as well as they are different account numbersAs I stated before, we had our client AT&T send him a final bill on the debt we have and we informed them of his concerns to investigate furtherThe account numbers as well as the balances are differentOur client has informed us this debt is valid and dueThank you

We reached out to the original creditor AT&T and they informed us that this is a valid and due debt and they are sending Mr [redacted] a copy of his final billThis is a Uverse account # [redacted] it was installed 3-20-and disconnected 9-24-with a remaining balance of $We have noted his account as disputed to the credit reporting agenciesWe do not buy nor sell debt and only collect debts we are given as valid and past due from our clients and in this case AT&TThank you
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Franklin Collection never ceased collection activity during the validation period According to FDCPA Section 809(b) a debt collector MUST cease collection activity until verification is received by creditor Credit bureau reporting is considered collection activity If they are contending that they did cease collection activity then I would like the AUD authorization number assigned to the request to update status until receipt was confirmed I am respectfully requesting Franklin Collection do the right thing and delete the invalidated account This is my attempt in making every effort to get this matter resolved without taking legal action and presenting this case in a courtroom before a jury Regards, [redacted] [redacted]
