Review: Four Seasons has a deli. They offer delivery for prepared food. I called in an order for delivery at 5:45 pm. They never called or delivered my order. After an hour, I attempted to call them multiple times and received a busy signal. The bad thing is that this isn't the first time this happened. A few months ago, they brought the food after 2 hours and claimed that they wrote down my phone number wrong. I told them that it was unacceptable and all the did was say "Sorry" The food was cold and they didn't attempt to make it right by offering a discount etc.. NOTHING. Needless to say I am highly upset. My 4 year old was sitting here waiting and hungry. They don't even bother to call and say that they're running behind etc.. Ridiculous! Food is great but their Customer Service is very poor.Desired Settlement: Someone needs to address this matter to them. They will come up with an millions excuses but not offer any consolation.

On the day of the first complaint there were two motor vehicle accidents that caused traffic to be blocked for a long period of time..which resulted in our delivery driver been stuck in the line of traffic. Due to circumstances out of our control our drivers were behind. As traffic started clearing we got our drivers out as soon possible. All customers who had placed an order were informed of this and that they could pick up there food within 30 minutes. We have apologize sincerely for this to our customers. These circumstances were out of our control. As for the other incident spoken about. A family member of complait called in a other. There had been a winter storm of ice and snow that day that caused deliveries to be slow. Yet again these issues are out of our control. Thank you [redacted]

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The bottom line is that customer service is very poor. We DID NOT receive a call informing us of a timeframe. It appears that the business owner likes to make excuses and blame other things for lack of good quality service. The blame lies with that business no matter what the scenario. Suggestions: When an order comes in and it is busy, advise the customer that there are x number of orders ahead of them. Give an estimated timeframe. No matter what the circumstances, you are providing a service. Communication is key. Good customer service means going above an beyond to make sure that customers receive quality service. If there is a delay on your part, offer the customer something: a small discount, extra order of fries, etc. This keeps the customer happy and makes them think that you care about your service and their satisfaction.
